Watch the video..I know, I would rather read it too. But the reporter talks about his experience of interviewing her.

Ok.:)

Beth is coming up, and will have info on Gus - and by coming up, I mean, it may be in the last bit as it was last night. lol

If we hear those recorded phone sex calls and Travis actually says his fantasy is to have sex with a 12 year old.... I'm gonna get pretty upset.

Not saying it will change anything about my opinions on this case and his murder.

I think it goes something like this...JA does her thing...Travis comments, that sounds so hot..you sound just like a 12yr old virgin blah blah. Nothing like.. oh JA, make yourself sound like a 12yr old because I really get turned on by the idea of being with a child. jmo

I think it is all innocent. I mean he did speak to the Detective because they spoke during the autopsy. It just doesn't sound like it was a serious straight facts conversation but one of generalities regarding what was going on during the autopsy and it left Flores with the impression the GSW came first. jmo

I agree totally. Im just wondering if it came off to the jurors as fishy. I could understand if it did.

I hope they were paying attention to the ME when he said he doesn't issue a final until he's viewed everything and that takes time.

But what scares the bejeezus outta me is that it MIGHT change the jurors opinions.

Whatever his fantasies were, that is all they were if he even said that. Look at some of the things that are posted on this forum in response to what others have said. If it's taken out of context we may never know for sure what he was referring to. It's possible she may have shown up one day at the house dressed like a 12 year-old.

In any case, unless those conversations involve extreme threats such as he'd like to kill her I don't think they will hold much water with the jury. Bottom line is she went there, she was not expected and she brought weapons with her and had a plan in place to make it appear she was never in Arizona.

We don't even know if those tapes will be admitted. But I guess we will soon find out. jmo

Oh Lord, she convinced the reporter who talked to her while she was in jail?????????????
I'm thinking she'll take the stand.

Ha! Wonder if he would be willing to be her next boyfriend if she gets off on this?! Bet not!

I usually am at work during the day so I have had to watch clips of the trial on youtube, etc.

But hearing the testimony in full without relying on transcripts, is a totally different experience.

IMO, Dr. Horn doesn't like Flores much.

FK- That is really interesting. What gave you that impression? I didn't notice that but then between his looks and testimony...well...

Why would JA record those phone calls with TA ? Either as ammunition to destroy his credibility later or as part of the coverup to TA's murder demonstrating his sexual deviancy as a ploy for the battered girlfriend defense.

I don't even know how to record a cell phone conversation ... so much for JA not being that "bright" ...

Re: Flores' report.

Coupla things caught my eye.

One, that when TA's friends first mentioned JA, they said that she and TA had "lived together" in this house for several months. To me, that would indicate that they also knew there was a sexual relationship.

Two, Mimi says that TA wasn't over his breakup with Lisa yet, so why was he trying to become more involved with Mimi? Was this possible why Mimi was reluctant to become romantic with TA?

Three, both the friends and LE note the strong smell of human decomp filling the house and being noticeable immediately upon opening the front door. How in the he77 did the roommates or the one roommate's GF who were in the OTHER UPSTAIRS BEDROOM not notice that? I swear if JA had not confessed, I would be looking at that bunch, and hard. It still raises my hinky, even tho JA is the murderer.

And lastly, so far, that is a plastic cup in the shower! I thought that's what it looked like.

Remember, his bedroom doors had been shut and locked up until the roommate and friends gained entrance with the key. The door at this point was left open for the smell to now waft through the house until LE officers were to arrive. The smell was now evident when LE does, in fact, arrive because the door has now been open for awhile. Hope that makes sense!

Just the way he said "I would never have said that", "I don't recall EVER speaking to Det. Flores", kind of like you would sound if your were annoyed by someone who was pretending you were BFFs but you barely knew them. Like he wanted to illustrate distance between himself and Flores. Totally MOO on this.

And Dr. Rob Lowe DOES make it hard to listen to the content of his words...lol

IMO At one point she either thought about black mailing him or she attempted to and he said go ahead. Also, I was under the impression it was just one call that was recorded. Am I wrong?

Thanks, I see your point. I just figured he was agitated with that whole line of questioning but you may be right.

I'm sure the jurors are wondering what happened but Flores admits it was his misunderstanding. I imagine the ME has spoken with hundreds and hundreds of LE regarding cases in the past 5 years so one can't expect him to remember an unremarkable conversations he may have had. I think Flores believed Jodi when she said he had been shot first and assumed as much. And at the time he spoke with Dr. Horn, the doctor may not have made a final decision about the sequence of the injuries before concluding his report.

In the end I would think the jurors, as many of us here do, would think it does not matter what the sequence was because what she did, in whatever order, was horrific. jmo
