They are both First Degree (Felony Murder or Premeditated Homicide). Both qualify for the DP. They can agree on the First Degree but be split on the Felony or Premed. I found that really interesting. It was be appealed ad nauseum "mark my words".

Wasnt it in the Drew Peterson trial they found him Guilty on both counts of murder?

I don't know! Interesting though...in this case I thought the felony murder alternative was/is pretty dicey but I guess the Judge had enough case law to back up her decision.

It's basically, "if you invite someone in to your home, who then murders you, the minute they start attacking you, they've become an unwelcomed guest and are then a burglar". Interesting interpretation of the law. If she had stolen the camera and they'd found it in her possession that would have qualified too I think.

Even if I were in a healthy relationship with someone I wouldn't ask them to just "swing by" the 400 miles from the alleged "friend" they were visiting.

I mean she drove the ENTIRE state of CA, cut over to AZ, then drove to UT afterwards.

Me too! And I'm normally just horrible at it. But in this case, I felt such a need to reach out personally to these people.

I'm rewatching some footage from today of the interrogation.

The breathy voice she gets in to when she's bald faced lying and imo trying to seem soft and sexy just makes me want to barf. She is capable of using a full sounding voice but lapses in to that breathy crap, leaning forward, giggling kind of ...I just can't stand it.
