I am about to take a gun to my tv.... Nancy Grace producer please turn down background music as I cannot hear testimony as music too loud!

I had no precautions I could take. No one was in charge of my schedule but me. I was expected to go to the homes. Although if I ever felt it was too dangerous, I could have asked for a change of place to meet. But that would only be after I had been to the home already. Otherwise, no one would know the situation.

I don't know what to say about the rape culture. We have Take Back the Night marches where I live. Maybe other places are not as proactive?

If you would be telling your sons that boys will be boys; some girls are 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 so do with them as you wish as they are not worthy of respect; girls that dress in skimpy clothes are asking for it; she was drunk and I was drunk; all the guys thought it was OK; can't think of other examples. Yes, then you would be part of the rape culture.

If you are telling your boys that some people are damaged and cannot be fixed by love and here are the characteristics, that would not be rape culture. You are not telling them that a damaged person is a green light for using

I think we're just completely misunderstanding each other.

I'm not part of the rape culture. I just think people should use good judgment when it comes to their own personal safety.

I'm jelly.

We seldom get snow here in the Ark-La-Tex.

But we have had a few dustings in the 5 years since I moved here. It's fun when it's a rarity! :)

Y'all get more than us in the metroplex. Have you been to Fouke to see the Boggy Creek monster? I had friends out of Stamps and Magnolia. AND I think there is a a thread for an unidentified person found in a motel in El Dorado on WS.

This image is the shower image of Travis Alexander blown up to 30000 pixels, his right eye. You will see an image of a light blue shirt, cropped dark jacket, the camera flashing in the left hand, and a gun? in the right. This would explain why he looked so shocked when Jodi Arias surprised him in the shower. and possibly shot him.. blowing the defenses theory of "self defense" out of the water.

The jury has seen and heard LOTS of evidence and had a week off to think about it all. The defense case can't be long so no one could say they didn't deliberate and come to the rational, sane conclusion of guilty. Why do ou think there would be a couple of bullies? The Pinellas 12 had all twelve village idiots wanting to go home. I do not believe in sequestering juries. Get it all out there and let the truth be known.

In theory, the jury wasn't supposed to think about the case during its week off. The instructions about not forming opinions until a juror hears ALL the evidence are rather strict.

Of course, human nature is human nature. But a lot of people (myself included) do try to follow the instructions.

WTH! I had not reallize that the 911 call has not been played to the jury yet! So the exclamation about them saying Jodi immediately has not come out yet and is being saved for rebuttal?!

Hi, Shelley921. Travis had been unlucky in life, but he had been lucky too. He was fortunate to get involved at the ground-level with Pre-Paid Legal, an organization that flourished on salesman's dreams. His speeches inspired men and women (probably including Jodi) to believe that they too could become affluent selling rudimentary legal help to mostly lower income people:

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/13/business/13short.html?_r=0

To understand short sellers’ enthusiasm, consider Pre-Paid Legal, a public company that sells legal insurance through multilevel partnerships.

For about $26 a month, Pre-Paid Legal lets customers consult an affiliate lawyer on legal matters like speeding tickets or writing a will. In 2005, the company’s nearly 500,000 sales representatives brought in revenue exceeding $423 million.

But like many multilevel marketing companies, Pre-Paid Legal suffers from high turnover. In 2005, the company replaced at least 50 percent of its active sales force, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Industrywide, multilevel marketing companies typically replace almost all of their sales representatives every year.

Short sellers are betting that the F.T.C.’s proposed rules will make it harder for Pre-Paid Legal to replenish its ranks.

Under the rules, Pre-Paid Legal would have to tell prospects that fewer than a quarter of its sales representatives sold more than one insurance plan in 2005, something it disclosed to investors in a filing with the S.E.C. While Pre-Paid’s Web site tells prospects that if they “market just five memberships per week, you’ll receive $500 per week!” very few representatives have consistently sold five memberships a week.

Pre-Paid Legal’s promotional materials also make little mention of current litigation. But the proposed rules would probably force the company to disclose that in 1997, Pre-Paid Legal acknowledged misleading customers and consented to suspend sales of living trusts after an F.T.C. investigation.

The regulations would also require the company to tell potential sales representatives that last year a Mississippi jury awarded a Pre-Paid customer $9.9 million over claims of deceptive marketing. More than 400 other Mississippi plaintiffs filed suit against Pre-Paid Legal before it reached a settlement this year.

In 2004, over 29 separate lawsuits involving more than 250 plaintiffs were filed against the company in Alabama; all of them were settled or dismissed this year.

Chanler, in your opinion is this anything but a giant Ponzi scheme?

I'm questioning how many people need to spend $316 a year for legal services insurance.

I'm nearly 59 (and granted I got some free advice once because I worked at a law firm), but I doubt I've spent more than $300 in my entire life on legal services. And with a Paralegal Service in every town and on-line, anybody can get help with a traffic ticket or simple will at very little cost.

I had it years ago, bought a year plan from a friend that was selling it. It covered much more. I found it very useful when purchasing and flipping a foreclosed property and evicting a tenant. I felt I got way more than my money's worth.

So this is a evidentiary hearing about prosecutorial misconduct then and not an evidentiary hearing where the defendant must prove something like the evidentiary hearing I linked in AZ law?:waitasec::D

And I don't think the Judge is going to agree to any mistrial or acquittal in this case! That based on reading her decisions on the previous requests.

I believe that the verdict in the OJ trial was jury nullification.
