He was interested in her because she was blond, all his male friends were initially. She changed it on the road, not at home where we would normally do it. If defense uses it for argument I see Martinez shooting it down in a blaze of glory. There are just some places defense wants to stay away from. I would hope they are smart enough to stay away from this one. jmo

I hope they are dumb enough to go there. And to put Jodi on the stand while they're at it. :please:

Wasn't Lisa a blonde?

My height of curiousity is reaching fever pitch to see how this trial is going to play out!

Hey, I just bought more snacks for the week. I used the trial as an excuse to buy all kinds of snacks. I might finally drink those two bottles of wine that have been around for a year. Oh no, I don't have any beer in the house! I do have some Gin I like with Ginger Ale. Warned my friends not to call during trial, or I'd hang up on them. Yeah, I'm really into this trial. :blushing:

A whole lot of what DAs claim is ridiculous. They still do it though. They have those texts or emails (whatever they were) where he called her a 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Maybe as he realized how sick she was, he decided her bleached blonde hair was slutty too and told her so.

Just playing around with what they might try. Trying to avert my stroke!

Let's hope the jury remembers, Travis is not on trial. Jodi is.

Ok, I'm revisiting some of the trial via my DVR and Mimi's testimony.

I'm surprised the Defense didn't object to all the info she got in about the stalking behavior--tire slashing, email harrassment, breaking in to Travis' password accounts, and following she and Travis on their first date.

This was all kind of hearsay on her part...things she'd heard, not experienced. I mean didn't she even not know Jodi was following she and Travis til after the fact? And what was the story on all of that anyway?

Awww likewise Elaine! I just don't want to miss a word of anyone's posts and I was starting to get motion sickness reading those packed lines. lol That makes sense on the Word transfer.

Glad you got a little laugh. I"m really not as obsessed with Vinnie as I seem. But I am kind of obsessed with Beth Karas (I love her--she's so smart). And yes that film...sigh....nothing really can be said. And hopefully things have changed that allowed her to continue her evil murderous ways. :furious:

LOVE LOVE Beth too. Don't you think she is looking better these days? New hair/makeup team possibly?

Maybe when she arrived at Travis's she said she needed a shower and a nap. Dyed her hair right there at Travis's and stuck it in braids. She could have removed the trash like the box, gloves..etc.

If she arrived in the middle of the night there was no reason to fear anyone seeing her. It would only be a concern if someone ( neighbor) saw her leaving.

That's why I fear a stroke. You know they're going to try to dirty him up. It's incomprehensible to me that someone can do what she did to him, and then use the strategy of killing him all over again in court to try to save her own skin. She KNOWS this wasn't self defense and she's willing to do that.

So sick.

Let's get Jodi on the stand and ask her herself! ;) God wonder what she'd come up with for that.

"I'm just kind of a spontaneous spur of the moment kind of person, what can I say? I was just driving down the road and had a wild thought of how fun it would be to brunette again so I popped in to a Walmart and dyed it in the bathroom there before I hit the road. I was just having a lot of fun with my road trip"

:pullhair:

Well, When I was moving from Calif. to Texas I stopped in a tiny town somewhere in New Mexico or it might have been Arizona, and got my hair cut in a small, no frills hair salon. I think the shop was attached to the stylist's home. Could not stand my hair one more minute/mile!

It's one thing for a sociopathic killer to go there. Another altogether for her defense attorneys and expert witnessnes to help her cook it up, support it and argue that with a straight face. :furious:

Would there be a lot of young female motorists travelling by themselves in a car at these truck stops? If not it would seem she would be something the truckers wouldn't forget seeing.

MOO

Struck stops generally are very clean and have restrooms and showers on first floor, not off somewhere or on a second floor. And truck drivers today are both women and men. And so many travelers stop at truck stops, no one would even notice her.

1. She most likely stopped at a truck stop. They have showers, as well as restrooms.

Could be, Curious. And she may well have known about the showers & such at truck stops -- I don't see her as a stranger to truck stops somehow...:what:

(Nothing against truck stops or truckers, please know. Truckers need those places to safely refresh, stretch their legs, get a good meal, relax, etc., and I'm glad they have them. They bring fresh food to our tables, and so much more, bless 'em!)
