That's why I fear a stroke. You know they're going to try to dirty him up. It's incomprehensible to me that someone can do what she did to him, and then use the strategy of killing him all over again in court to try to save her own skin. She KNOWS this wasn't self defense and she's willing to do that.

So sick.

Please don't have a stroke. It is going to get really ugly when they start trashing Travis. You're probably going to throw things, so hope you have some pillows nearby to throw.

Gin and Ginger and one of those--I call that Communion!

Confession first - I hate Jodi, and have no remorse for hating Jodi. She's just not human, and possibly a demon.

Hmm... :waitasec:and two boxes of hair dye = 1 EXTRA pair of gloves....

I understand what you're thinking, however, those gloves which come with boxed hair color are barely adequate to do one's hair.

:D

She was talking to TA in the middle of the night on June 2, from around 3 to 4AM (phone records), then she was at a local gas station in Yreka at 5:30AM ish. So it sounds like she didn't sleep much that nite.

Good point, Boods! With all she had on her mind, even with her truly cold, cold blood, even she might have been unable to sleep much until IT was done. Anger, joy/revenge, etc. She was on a Mission. :furious:

And as we know, Jodi has "plenty of" gloves. :hand:

True... I was just remembering her "IF I did it I'd wear gloves"... comment

With all the bleached items in the laundry trying to hide evidence of her hair dye makes more sense than getting rid of DNA/blood... There was no way to clean up that scene!

Hmm... :waitasec:and two boxes of hair dye = 1 EXTRA pair of gloves....

I remember in the interrogation video that JA said "I would have worn gloves".

Maybe that's why she bought extra cleansing pads knowing they would get the extra dye off her hands. IMO JA was a pro at dying her hair from what we've seen with the blond effect.

So those extra pair were probably burned in the desert with the other incriminating evidence. Even though her hand print and DNA were found on the wall, I don't believe she had the gloves on the entire time during the attack only during the cleanup maybe. JMO

That makes sense but you wouldn't drive your car 90 miles to rent one, when there are places to do it in your town.

She was visiting her beloved family in Redding.

But Jodi thinks she is smarter than everyone else, she isn't, and could get information out of Flores as to what they had on her. It ticks me off when I hear talking heads say how good of a liar and actor she is. In my opinion she is neither. Her lies are not good lies at all and she needs time to think of a lie before she can make one up. Her acting sucks because she has no clue how normal people behave, feel or think. It's easy to see through her and I wish they would stop making her out to be something that she isn't.

MOO

Agree, T'sMom! Plus, she's talking to a veteran investigator. I'm sure he's interviewed many, many guilty people, and he knows what to watch for, and can prolly smell a lie coming & going.

When one lies, it's often amid unnecessary flourishes of details that in no way make the lie any more believable.

"Did you shoot him, Sir?"

"Well, that morning I wanted breakfast, so I went to the IHOP just down Elm Street, there on the corner of 21st Street, you know, where the Kangaroo Mart is? The waitress was in a bad mood, and it took forever to get my order in, even for coffee. I'll never go back to that place again, but I hear the Pancake House is a good place. Have you ever been there? And no, I didn't shoot him. I don't even know him. They say he used to be a high school football coach, but I have 3 boys who have all played football, & I never heard his name. One of my boys was the quarterback and they went all the way to State semi-finals. What a great year he had, and it was his junior year. But no, I don't even know the guy you're asking about."

Kinda like that...

Rental car guy said there was a man there when she rented the car but he didn't know if they were together. I remember that from the testimony. It was vague and didn't get any clearer. There is no evidence JA was traveling with anyone else and no evidence that she made purchases for anyone else. No one else was at the murder scene. Just JA and the victim.

IIRC i remember reading early on in the case it was her brother who drove her to the rental car place

Is there anything to document Travis preference? Because in the vast majority of the photos of them together she's an over processed platinum blonde.

She does have dark hair in some pics.

Someone can say that based on other women he dated. All they have to do is bring some doubt into the situation.

Of course, I don't believe it for one second. I am just bringing possibilities that the defense may use.

CFA got off when in my eyes it was slam dunk.

I'm a little shocked and frankly disappointed Jodi didn't look like she put on any weight.

I don't think I could eat food that was prepared in prison. I'd live on pre packaged stuff and weigh a million pounds.

I too was disappointed. I was hoping she had gained weight also. lol Well, at least we can watch her age like SP is doing.

First post, :seeya: so I'm a little nervous...:blushing:
I also did some sleuthing on the Walmart receipt, and I didn't catch up on everything that's been said since the above post, so I hope I'm not too repetitive.

I couldn't quite make out the product description in the screenshot of the Walmart recipe, so I tried to figure out if the twelve digit code might reveal what JA bought that day.
Here's the screenshot of the receipt.

Now, according to this site, the 12-digit code is the UCP code.
There are sites that allow you to look up UCP codes, but most of them are based on data that users supply and are nowhere near complete. I found no matches to the exact 12 digits on the receipt, sadly. I even tried adding all the numbers between 0-9 to the end of the code, because one site I checked said that 13-digit UPC codes are common, but Walmart only prints the first 12 digits onto the receipts.
Still no hits. Then again, the receipt is from 2008, so maybe the product has been discontinued since then, or nobody entered that particular product into those databases so far.

However, apparently the first 6 digits of a UCP code identify the manufacturer.
When I typed those first 6 digits 007050 into the UCPmachine, it spit out a long, long list of Neutrogena products.
So, apparently JA truly bought some sort of cosmetics that day. Does anyone know if Neutrogena or an associated firm produce hair colour? I'm not in the US, so I'm not entirely sure if they do, here we don't have any Neutrogena hair colour.

Also, if spagrl checked with a Walmart employee, they surely know more about the product descriptions on their receipts, so in the end they're probably more reliable than my tossing numbers at an internet machine, but I thought I'd post what I had found out.
