Regarding the gloves that come in a box of hair color:

What are we thinking? She already admitted to the crime. How does an extra pair of gloves show it was premeditated and not self defense? I'm lost by these posts.

She commented to the detective during her interrogation she would've worn gloves. Ironic if she actually had an extra pair with the hair color; however, those gloves wouldn't do anything to have concealed the hand print, they would have torn.

MOO

The purchases that we thought were two boxes of hair dye were not actually hair dye -- so no extra set of gloves that we know of.

Thank you Katie...er i mean Vinnie...opps, I mean "The Beebs" for the reference to this documentary. I just finished watching Dear Zachary on Netflix. Despite the fact I have the worst headache ever from crying so hard, what a tragic, yet touching, film worth the tears!! The initial similarities between Jodi and Shirley were shocking!! Wonder if that's where Jodi got the idea to call after killing him?!?! CREEPY!!

She also showed concern for Andrew's family when talking to police. There were several similarities and it added so much resolve that Jodi should never be allowed to roam free again. Her disregard of other people won't end with Travis no more than Shirley's ended with Andrew. I was so PO'd that the judge who let Shirley out was not put off the bench! At least, if she was, it was not mentioned at the end of the film when updates were done about the people involved.

Whoever it was that suggested the movie, THANK YOU. It was very well made and worth the tears. The friend who made it really made you see Andrew and Zachary, see how loved they were, and see how badly their family and friends were robbed. Mr and Mrs Bagby are amazing people.

My husband watched that with me and he was choking as much as me. Now he understands my obsession with TA's death because it was made personable by Andrew's story. The raw pain so many people were/are in because one psycho decided that if she couldn't have him then nobody would. Nobody. Not just another women but also his friends, his sisters, his grandparents. Nobody. Sometimes people don't think about the repercussions of a crime like this. Until someone like Kurt Kuenne is able to show you just how far reaching the horror really is.

I too was disappointed. I was hoping she had gained weight also. lol Well, at least we can watch her age like SP is doing.

:seeya: Thanks for these pics, popsicle. Oooooo - Scott's scary, dead shark/sociopath eyes.

O/T: Coincidentally, I spent the entire afternoon watching one of my old Scott Peterson trial video tapes (no comments, please, about me needing to Get a Life). I watched the coverage of Lee's testimony in the penalty phase. You know, when LP told all about his grandma migrating to Minneapolis from Lithuania, and about his dad riding a bicycle all around St. Paul delivering telegrams.......

I brought it up because everyone was thinking she dyed it on the road. I saw no reason for her to dye it on the road.

I can't image anyone that took the time to rent a non conspicuous car....would be driving down the highway with a plastic cap on her head to the next rest stop....to wash out the dye.

IMO she didn't need a disguise when she arrived at Travis's, it was dark. She dyed it when she arrived for two premeditated reasons.... To not leave any blonde hairs behind, To not be recognized when she was leaving during daylight hours.

I think she dyed it, showered and braided hair all at Travis's

I was just curious about the significance of a second set of gloves, if there was any. I don't think there is.

It's nice to be able to discuss whatever is on our mind. We never know exactly what will stick with the jurors.

For myself, I am curious about every detail of the case in an effort to try understand Jodi and her actions.

Does it matter if she stopped 5 times to pee?
No, but I want to know what else she may have done on those stops.

Details, details.

Yes -- not the crime-gun .25 cal, but a 9mm. She had future plans & prolly found that she liked guns but wanted a larger size than the one she used to kill TA on her 3rd try....

If killing a man 3 or 4 (depending on the stab wounds being regarded separately) times isn't 1st Degree Murder, then nothing on earth is....:furious:

You're on to something now.. she expected more from the stolen grandparents gun (death). Probably this ex-bf MM (who will be testifying for the defense) may have supplied her with that (no records of her purchasing the 9mm). IMO she cooked it up with MM for her self defense to testify of seeing the supposed bruises/abuse from Travis.

I believe LE did find the records of the purchase of the 9mm in her grandparent's home.

Granted, I'm not very girly, but it takes a professional at least an hour to color my hair, not including the drying and styling part. I can't imagine being able to do it in a rest stop in an hour, max, and be back on the road just like that. Especially covering up blond. It's just not that easy to do if your hair is naturally dark, ime. Not to mention that no one's said they saw her do it and there's no cctv of her entering anywhere as a blond and exiting as a brunette that I know of. Plus, it seems to me it would be pretty unusual for someone to color their hair in a truck stop shower. Unusual enough that someone would notice (I realize it's possible someone did notice and just doesn't know anything about the case or want to come forward)

Maybe she did it at Travis's house. There was plenty of time. You would think there would have been some evidence in the bath or trash, but maybe not and I haven't heard any testimony about what all they found in the trash or even if it was searched -- although I'm sure it was.

I've seen some pretty strange things along I-10.
She was traveling at night and could go pretty much unnoticed while
on the interstate.
If she dyed it on the road she may have applied it at one stop and rinsed/washed it out at the next. Then she could have braided it and
back on the road towards Mesa.

If she did dye it at Travis' house she likely took any packaging with her.

:twocents: MOO, IMHO, .etc. :-)

Hahaha

I just went on the Walmart site to look up the hair dye thing, and I see someone has already asked a similar question on that site!!

Your comment about stopping to pee reminded me of another pyscho - remember Lisa Novak or was it Nowak? Regardless, she was that crazed stalker astronaut who drove from Texas to Florida wearing a diaper so she wouldn't have to stop to pee so much!!

Since JA got a Grand Jury indictment on her birthday in 2008, it is only fitting that the state of AZ gives her an even bigger birthday gift and the sooner the better.

Me too. I like people's thoughts. Things I would have never thought about. Everyone brings a different perspective

Agreed. And in discussing those actions, I want to understand what everyone thinks is the significance, if any. Many times you guys are way ahead of me in thinking this all through. :)

I want to hear the snarky comment.
Wacha say, Katie? lol

I posted it here too...at least once/twice/thrice:

Jean, don't you find it interesting that the defense expert Alyce LaViolette founded a program called "Alternatives to Violence" yet it te$tifying in a case where they claim the admitted murderer "had no choice" but to slaughter an unarmed, nude man?

(please excuse the typo)

thanks jj.. didn't know that either! These threads move so fast that it's utterly impossible to catch every detail unless you sit in front of the puter 24/7..:blushing:
