--"once it got heated she excused herself, stepped outside and went outside for half an hour" when she came back she was shaking and crying.
--Gus is asked if he ever saw Jodi get mad at Travis. Gus says "no".
--Gus later saw Jodi when she was moving to northern California. She had had her phone stolen and Gus helped her get a new phone. He saw her for approximately ten minutes.

--re: prepaid legal. It is a MLM business? "yes". Martinez is asking Gus how it works. You profit from all the people that sign up. There are a very few number of people that are at the very top of the business. Those people are making a profit from everybody below them. By being at the top of the pyramid you make money from people below. Gus does not want to answer the question about the people at the top making the money from the people below. Gus does not want to say it is a "pyramid". He will say it is MLM. Martinez now calls it a "triangle". Gus says it is "more like a circle". Martinez is asking who is making the money?
--Gus says that there are people making hundreds of thousands of dollars without signing anybody up.
--Gus is being what Martinez says is "non responsive" and is not answering the questions.
--Was Jodi "making a lot of money?", she hadn't signed any big businesses.
--Gus was grooming her.
--Jodi had somebody above her, if she signed somebody up the person above her would make money.
--Martinez is asking about "the big money", the people on the top make money from people beneath them.
--Gus had gone to Arizona for a local business briefing and met Jodi there. The first time he met Jodi he saw her for 45min to and hour. He spent 10-15 minutes the first night.
--The second time Gus met Jodi was at a national convention in Oklahoma or Las Vegas, doesn't remember when or what location. Martinez is asking why Gus won't answer his questions. Gus doesn't remember because it was five years ago.
--The purpose of meeting with Jodi at the convention was to "check in with her, to see how she was doing". Gus spoke to Jodi for 2-3 hours. Gus was a presenter at a break out session. Jodi was not at that session.
--During the whole convention, Gus saw Jodi 3-4 times. Gus says that Jodi was dressed professionally.
--Martinez asking about the third time they met. After the convention at the next convention would be the next time.
--Where did you see her at the convention? Gus does not remember where the convention was.
--There are after parties in the evenings where people go to "blow off steam".
--During the third time, Gus saw Jodi 4-5 times. He was a presenter. He presented on the second day, the day after the executive meeting.
--Gus presented at the other event and saw Jodi once again. During the day everyone is expected to dress professionally.
--re: personal meetings. The mobile home was in Las Vegas. Jodi stayed two days, one night.
--Gus saw Jodi in Pasadena, CA. Gus had arranged to meet Jodi. They met late morning, 1000-1400 hours. "somewhere in there". Gus gave her a telephone because she needed one. It was a "Helio". Gus doesn't remember the day this took place.

--re: meeting in Vegas or OK City, Gus was asked about Jodi's attire. People are expected to dress professionally during the day. Not everyone always adhered to that during the day.
--re: after parties in the evening. It was "nightclubish" attire. There was alcohol at the parties.
--Did Gus ever see Jodi dress inappropriately at these parties? Gus says that he never saw Jodi dressed inappropriately or acting sexual or being drunk or out of control and he never saw her angry.
--re: Gus spending time with Jodi in her motor home. On those days Jodi wore slacks and turtleneck/long sleeves. It was appropriate for the weather at the time.
