My impression was the point the juror was coming to in their mind was does CH seek to 'mentor/help' people that are not underneath him, or in his group- so to speak. Making it clear that what Mr Gus Searcy was doing wasn't what other ring wearers were doing. Gus was helping JA who was not a direct underling to Gus... if CH also did things like this it may be normal. But it appears this isn't the normal thing. Does that make sense?

Yes, TY and that does make sense. I just wonder if a juror would have picked up on the brief mention of CH in the pyramid/circle scheme from today's testimony or if the question was based on what they may have seen watching TV yesterday.

Was Gus the guy who was going to leave his wife after he spent two hours making out with Jodi?

Ok I just re-watched some of Gus's testimony before the jury question. He stated JA was part of Mr. Hughes team and he(Gus) was part of Mr. P's team. An juror that is paying attention could wonder why is Gus helping someone on Mr. Hughes team and does Mr. Hughes help anyone on his team. I don't see jury misconduct at this point.

Sorry if this has been pointed out, yall type way to fast for me to keep up lol.

Maybe this juror has figured out that Gus overstepped the boundaries by by-stepping CH and providing "personal" mentoring to JA and that Gus had other intentions than the company's interest in mind.

Exactly!

Remember what Gus said yesterday (or Chris Hughes said he said) he had information that could blow this case wide open. It could hurt her or help her... free her or fry her. Ummm really?

Not one person on that jury is going to think it was ok nor innocent for a grown, married, much older, not very attractive balding old man, to offer to have a beautiful young woman he was 'mentoring' (who by the way wasn't even in GS underline or whatever they call it) to have her come stay at his 'motorhome' for a day, night, and a day- especially after a break up with a boyfriend.

Talk about the shark going after the kill. Rebound anyone. He looks like the dirty old man that he is, I can guarantee it.

Hmmm, interesting... meeting her in Pasadena for 10 minutes to give her a phone in between dropping off his children at school and picking them up.

Yorba Linda to Pasadena is about a 30 minute drive. So, an hour drive for a 10 minute meeting! Why didn't he just overnight her the phone, that's what most people would do.

I wonder if his wife knew about the visit Jodi made to his motorhome to spend the night, or the gift of the phone?

If this is all they got then they are screwed- which I already knew they were but this is some solid proof now.

Hi, Frigga. In both the YouTube videos of Gus that I have seen, he is very conscientiously presenting himself with women. His preferred persona is a savvy, friendly older guy who gets along well with attractive females.

exactly

and why was he giving her phones and letting her stay in his trailer?

(I would have asked the question too as the State has already shown her trying to latch on to other PPL people other than Travis)

BBM

hahahaha, lol, :floorlaugh:, I think Gus, His Pompousness would disagree, as his status/hierachy would be compromised. Funny how he corrected the PT, when JM referred to it as a mobile home, "it's a motor home".

So has the defense dropped the prosecutorial misconduct claim??

Good point, o-blueeyes, thanks for reminding us!

I admit, I am tired already. Whew! Not saying I don't like it -- not at all. I'm just trying to hang on to my seat...

Im just glad that Travis didn't get trashed. I was afraid he was going to get drug through the mud and I wasnt wanting to hear that.
Today (so far) has been like one of those really scary looking roller coasters... I dont know about you all... but I'm getting back in line to ride again! Hang on!!

He probably makes the wife kiss it every morning.

JMO but I think JA did this to spite TA and for payback. She intentionally went over his head to someone higher up the ladder and that probably really pissed TA off as well as embarrassed him. She probably put on an act of being afraid of TA and asked Gus if she could stay there for protection. She is a real class act.

this is on The State vs Jodi Arias - Travis Alexander murder trial FB page:

NG was talking to an inmate of Arias and she said that Arias told her that she had to kill Travis because she feared for her life, She also told the inmate that she "chopped" his body up and dumped it throughout the county :waitasec:

I cannt link FB from work CPU - I have FB on my phone.... but anyone who has them as a friend can links.

I so hoped Juan would ask... "How well do you know Jodi?" and then toss those pictures up there... "Did you know this side of her?"
But... Gus prolly would have just grinned... and smirked... Chances are... He DID know that side of her. Ewwww!

Darnit Laceybug -- I was just about to grab some lunch and now I can't eat!! (and something tells me you are right about this!!)

This is a little troubling -- the jury asked if Mr Hughes was one of Gus' earners or however you put it. How does the jury know anything at all about Mr Hughes? He has not been a witness and the jury is supposed to have not been exposed to any media about the case.

The prosecutor asked him who Jodi was under in PPL. He said, "Chris Hughes".

I wanted to respond to m00c0w's post in the earlier closed thread.
m00c0w: BBM

The photo where it's alleged his throat was cut. Nothing but speculation.

She obviously left by 6:00 that night. I'm not talking about hours. I'm talking about minutes. 2 minutes, to put it simply, doesn't seem possible. Especially if TA was putting up any sort of a fight. Who here has ever been in any sort of a fight? Who knows how tiring it is? Who thinks that 120lb Jodi Arias would have been able to fight built TA for any amount of time (as evidenced by defensive wounds), stab him 29 times, and then have any stamina left to drag him anywhere in 2 minutes?

I'm not denying any of the injuries. I'm not saying she didn't do it. I'm saying that there is a great possibility that those 2 minutes were not the entirety of the attack, and that it's possible she left and came back with another weapon. In fact, I think that makes more sense than claiming the above.

I worked in LE. There was a case in which a car was found with a male (5'11" 198lb at time of death) stuffed inside in the back seat. He had 37 stab wounds, along with defense wounds, fingers hanging by threads and half his other hand almost cut completely through. In finding and looking at a security cam tape it showed a 5'5" 125 lb
woman stabbing him as he stood by the car. He dropped ten feet from the car and she dragged, lifted and stuffed him in the vehicle. Time took from start to finish, eighteen minutes. He stopped moving at eleven minutes.

I guess Jodi is a better time manager.

Keep in mind Travis was hit in the heart, shot in the head and had his head almost cut off. Three fatal wounds.
Two of which the ME testified would have rendered him unable to put up any sort of purposeful fight.
