The good news from this morning is:
At least one juror has figured out that Jodi wasn't under Gus in the company's organizational chart and that it is hinky that Gus was meeting with Jodi multiple times, stayed with him, and gave her a phone.

I'm thinking that it was Jodi manipulating Gus in this situation. She was playing the poor, abused woman who needed a strong protector from her abusive boyfriend. He became her "protector". GAG!

Don't you think the defense was hoping he would give them information that would support their theory of TA as abusive? And then all he really did was to promote himself. I think the Dt and Pt both feel this guy was a toal waste of court time. I feel the jury must be scratching their heads about now.

I really dont know what the defense expected. You are right all we heard is this blowhard build himself up. Even stressing his motor coach was LARGE! Oh my he probably didnt need Jodi to get sexually excited. He can just think of how wonderful he is and do it all by himself.:floorlaugh:

I think the defense is just trying to put on witnesses who had some kind of relationship with Jodi and didn't hate her or have anything bad to say about her -- to try to humanize her somewhat and let the jury believe that she was not universally hated and shunned.

Why do I think that will be a tall order to fill?

From all accounts most people that met Jodi over time, found her strange.

Look at it this way... He said he was there when she got the phone call from TA and JA went outside to talk to TA on the phone. IF TA was the abuser she is saying he is, She wouldnt have went outside to talk to him. She would have sat right there with Gus for PROOF that he was abusive toward her. Right? Where are all of her witnesses to the abuse? Obviously Gus wasn't one of them.

How do the jurors know about Chris Hughes? I don't think he was mentioned at trail as of yet. Has he?

Gus told the court that he was on team "Pentacle" and Jodi was on Chris Hughes team when asked if Jodi was on his team.

Does anyone have a good background on the defense team? Usual style, tactics, record, etc? Also, there was some talk about attorneys trying to recuse themselves for whatever reasons? How many and which attorneys, and do we know why? TIA!!

Im just glad that Travis didn't get trashed. I was afraid he was going to get drug through the mud and I wasnt wanting to hear that.
Today (so far) has been like one of those really scary looking roller coasters... I dont know about you all... but I'm getting back in line to ride again! Hang on!!

It's going to happen so be prepared for it. The defense has no other choice than to drag Travis through the mud and make it appear that he had his murder coming to him.

I think the jury asking how many people are at each level helps show this was a pyramid! Only a few at the top making quite a bit of money and the other, not making squat. Did he say 450,000 in the "company", yet only a few at the higher levels? No longer a circle or triangle, that's a pyramid!

Yes, and did Juan Martinez also mention to GS that Jodi would be paying a $40 monthly fee to be able to be a part of PPL, that would in essence be a part of the money that those above her earned in this circular pyramid with "legendary parties"?

Watching that Youtibe someone posted with him performing some song with "back up dancers" makes me laugh to think of what he considers "legendary" LOL …
