I'm not throwing anything at anybody and hopefully won't lose my mind and throw something out of my purse at Alyce LaViolette if I see her testify this week and she pisses me off.

But...what wasn't he truthful about? My feed kept going in and out. How was he protecting her?

I noticed Nancy G made a comment to Beth (I think) last night about Ms. LaViolette and the violent issue as far as TA. jmo

Boy, dramatic voice change in DB when he had to admit about the gas cans. Would have given anything to have seen his face.
How about his face when he learned that Jodi murdered Travis right after taking his photo in the shower? :shiver:

Ohhhh, Chris Hughes is back on the witness stand. Wonder where *this* is going?!

WTH does that have to do with anything? I don't know why they asked him this question, nor whether she was "sexually aggressive".

To prove that anal sex was not a new thing to her. She was not forced by Travis to have anal sex and it wasn't a form of abuse by him. She was strong enough to cut off sex due to religion from a man she didn't want to have any longer and strong enough to have sex when religious to a man she wanted to have.

FYI, women wearing the tighty-whitey style of men's underwear was made popular in the mid-2000s by Sex and the City (small sized to fit like bikini style undies). I know, I wore them for a second. Super comfy, btw. Sarah Jessica's character Carrie wore them around her apartment.

So, even if Jodi did that, that doesn't mean anything to me against TA.

The defense is doing a superb job and I personally am thrilled that their tactic is just further sealing this psychopaths eternal fate..

I hope any who believed it was going to be interesting to see and hear the "other side of the story" aren't too terribly disappointed ..as in the DT somehow giving an alternate version of their psychopath client.. nope, IMO they're just superbly reinforcing exactly what we already knew..Great job DT!

(Oh and btw what's up with the defense Atty smiling during their defense witness' cross-exam where clearly the points being made were ONLY further racking up for the pros?!?..strange IMO)

Anyhow much thanks to you all who have done such a great job throughout the trial in giving us great play by play in real time for those of us who at times are unable to watch..(huge thanks to wenwe's greatly detailed posts after each witness).

Is this some kind of slight of hand? Having him write his phone numbers on a piece of paper on the witness stand? Is Nurmi gonna hold that paper up to his head and guess them? Oh wait, that was Mr. "I Wear my Brooch to Court" Gus.

Seriously that was the most masterful cross I've seen in a LONG time.

And I work in the legal field!

You know I got in trouble before for picture taking....I could get arrested for being a repeat offender!

I'm telling you she is really far away. Hopefully I will sit more behind her to get that view but it takes me further from the jury. I don't think I could even throw a wad of gum and hit Jodi from the gallery. Not that I'd try. ;)

BUT when I did try and study her hand movements it appeared to me she was writing and not drawing.

:dunno:

but you could take one for the team and see what the jail looks like from the inside...

GOOD! I hope to get a chance to talk to Nancy tomorrow...and I will mention it...if I don't clam up with nervousness. :blushing:

I am sorry but I'm unsure at this point how sorry I feel for Daryl Brewer. He wasn't entirely telling the truth, and that for me, makes his testimony skewed and suspect. He swore an oath, and he defied that oath trying to help Jodi. He is not concerned with the truth and the brutal murder of a fellow human being. I don't really like that.

ETA- You can all begin throwing things now- I'll duck.

ITA!! He contradicted or denied everything that he had told investigators, and within the time he was testifying he so many conflicting dates, etc., that as a juror I would not consider him credible what-so-ever.
Legal savvy folks - is there a legal problem with him contradicting his interviews with investigators?
