The witness is the one who introduced this line of questioning yesterday by bringing up the "letters" himself. He has only himself to blame if he's pizzed off. I don't feel sorry for him. HE opened the door! Nurmi is doing his job.

Chris Hughes is one pissed off man. Glad Travis has him on his side.

CH is so clearly frustrated. I can feel his desire to shout everything that he knows to be true from the rooftops, but he can't.

Justice is coming, CH. To all of TA's friends and family, justice will soon be here.

Here Mr. Nurmi, would you like a pair?

I don't think he'd know what to do with them.

'It was her reconstructing a story.'

why on earth would the defense even give evidence (the letter) to him and his wife. Isn't that a no-no?

"It was her reconstructing a story"

Let's just get on to Juan so we can see what this hearing is really going to mean.

Witness is getting a little hostile! Yet, DA keeps his cool and doesn't yell at him. Interesting.
IMO - Today, the DA was schooled by the prosecution. First, Gus admits JA was upset while on the phone w/Travis, then DB admits to her borrowing gas cans to get to AZ, they had the same type of "sex" she had w/Travis, and JA took pics of DB in the shower without his knowledge. :what:

I thought it was the defense start of the case, but it's continued to be all prosecution. JMO

OBJECT JUAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't let the media report on this!!! They jury might see it or hear about it!!!

They are hoping to get this out about the fake pedophile letters

If they read about it, what will be highlighted by an article will be this:

oh no he din't ==

I know the letters are fake, just as you know the letters are fake (CH to Nurmi).

HAH!

My thoughts exactly. And how does this prove prosecution misconduct???

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy sIII (so please excuse the typos!)

I guess they are trying to show that the prosecution fed information to the witnesses, and tried to affect their testimony.

BBM - It would be the first time during this trial...in my opinion.

Oh, man!

They had correspondance with Alexander about him being abusive towards Arias?

  • #1,875
The judge is getting exasperated.

The (imo understandable) contempt CH has for the defense attorney is palpable.

And the defense is epically failing!

In June 2010 based upon wife's response - she shared that with Chris @ that point in time - they discused it . . . for a few minutes they believed it . . . . only reason she believed it was because Nurmi told her . . . .
One reason was they looked @ it and the letters didn't make sense - time and calendar didn't make sense - it was JA reconstructing a story that was Chris and his wife's assessment the day they got the letter . . .

The reason the Defense had placed Chris on the witness list to keep him out of the courtroom? Only because to keep him out of the courtroom - Chris felt that way . .. who gave you that information . . .what info? When we had hearing with you previously an your client you asked us to leave the courtroom . . . that is what we deduced from previous.

Well , you and your wife exchanged information with TA that you both felt he was being abusive to JA?

Objection!
Approach!

So basically this guy is being grilled because he could see right through the defense strategy and the defense doesn't like it.

Ironic that this hearing is about prosecutorial misconduct and yet the defense is "misconducting" all over the place in it.
