Witness is being belligerent.

As an attorney, I totally disagree. Not at all belligerent. He's answering the questions. He seems frustrated by those questions and what the defense is trying to do. Belligerent? heck no. If you want an example of a belligerent witness, please watch Cindy and George Anthony's depositions. That's belligerence. This is not.

I think the witness is fairly polite and taking his time to make sure the defense doesn't trick him. I see no evidence that he colluded with the prosecution to create fake testimony. Witnesses and prosecution are free to talk with one another, explore testimony and reasons behind statements.

It is okay for the prosecution, BTW, in response to a post I saw above, to ask a witness who wants to help to try to remember anything important, go through old paperwork or emails or whatever, and bring it to the state or call the state back if the remember or find something. Then, the prosecution would have to divulge any info they receive if it is exculpatory, to the defense.

I think the defense thus far is doing a poor job of trying to show something nefarious was going on. They are just frustrating an old friend of Travis.

Sorry to "bunch" yes I said "most of us posters" my apologies to those who want to be excluded. MO from what I've heard so far he "played" JA by dating other women, keeping her secret etc. this is emotionally toying with her and IMO somewhat emotionally abusive.

HAVING said that, nothing shows SD yet IMO and I still feel she should pay for her actions! TA was brutally murdered, and nothing TA has done yet proves she should get off on SD.

Yes this is new. But most of us posters here believe that the way TA treated her as a secret girlfriend being a player etc was not nice at all even emotionally abusive. But we will have to see where this is going. Still nothing that warrants SD yet.

Who is most of? Ironically many on this board who have voiced their own experiences of domestic violence greatly disbelieve Jodi's account.

Emotional abuse isn't calling someone a name once or twice in anger. It is a systematic, lengthy process of tearing apart someone's self-esteem that often utilizes control, verbal abuse, manipulation, blackmail, coercion, stalking, threats, etc.

CH, the witness, is desperately trying to stall and maneuver out of whatever he is getting questioned about that he wrote in email and/or said in other interviews. He said some things that are or could be damaging to Travis and he is now trying to moonwalk backwards as fast as he can.

But if he'd just ANSWER THE QUESTIONS instead of playing games, pretending like he doesn't understand what he's being asked, pretending like he doesn't know how to read or read very well, and all the other crapola he is pulling, this would end and Mr. Martinez can mitigate any damage done with questions he asks.

Agree. However, it feels to me that the judge almost always rules in favor of the prosecution. I worry that this trial is going to end up with a re-do or serious appeal issues.
