This sub-trial has become one, big, confusing "Who's On First?" exercise. Gus Searcy is a seedy, lech of a clown. I imagine Jodi did "nice" things to get this and that from him. Worse, he's probably counting on helping her beat as much of this charge as he can, so she'll owe him you-know-what if she ever gets out of prison.
