1. Does anyone know which restaurant he managed?
2. My prediction is that Jodi will testify beginning sometime Thursday. The defense will walk her ever so slowly through grade school, middle school, high school, GED, job history, all along the way making her comfortable on the stand. And then she'll be back Monday.

Darryl Brewer had a very distinctive, dramatic change in voice tone/quality when answering questions about the gas can. Since we couldn't see him, I am not sure if it was due to emotion or if he had just taken a sip of water or due to some other reason. It changed from a normal speaking tone to almost a whisper. It was a very, very dramatic change. Did it come from reluctance to admit the truth?

I caught that too. I also caught Jodi, while he was testifying lean over to Willcoxx and say "he's mad". Willcox looked spitting mad too. Or maybe horrified. It was over the gas cans that appeared to catch the defense off guard.

The lapse in time when answering, and his choked up whisper, was even as damaging as the answer itself.

I am so impressed with Juan yesterday. He could have called Darryl as his witness since he had bombshell evidence but he is so smart he let the defense do it and then whamo............now he can ask leading questions and boy they were coming out like bullets.

And the affect was absolutely like movie drama. When he first asked Darryl about the red gas cans at first Darryl doesnt say anything (silence) and then when he does answer it is a whispered agonizing 'yes.' Its better than any movie Ive ever seen.

I was of the impression that DB was hesitant to say anything that he believed may cast Jodi in a bad light. JMO but he seemed to still hold very deep emotions for her.

He was very careful what he said and how he said it. It was as if Jodi was holding a gun to his head. He was grasping his hands so tight. I really think she has something she is holding over his head. He did not want to testify and asked not to show his face. All he would have had to say to defense is that he had some issues with Jodi he would prefer that they not be made public. jmo

No source...it just seems weird to me that Nurmi said he had today and tomorrow filled with testimony. How could he be sure unless he is going to keep the same witness on the stand both days. jmo

Wowza. And I believed I was guilty of TMI! :blushing: Adnoid? Whaaa? (Good thing this thread has a disclaimer methinks!)

I think it's subjective personally. There was a time not all too long ago that the majority believed - and laws supported - being gay deviant.

I don't consider what consenting adults do sexually as deviant, barring no laws being broken. That said though I truly believe Jodi used sex as a manipulative tool/weapon...still doesn't make her sexually deviant, in my opinion, just your average garden-variety psychopath.

If people are shocked or whatnot...why was that 50 shades book such a block buster...it wasn't the writing imo....I still question why people were so attached to it other than the sex....:moo::blushing:
