Excuse me he was on a mission during that time? A missionary isn't allowed to drive in a car with an unmarried woman on their mission. Nor are Mormon girls allowed to wear bikini's. Have you all seen the photos of Jodi on the Havasupai trip? Her scanty bikini with breast implants? Um- really?

I'm not sure thats accurate.

Mormon girls are not allowed to wear bikini's! They do not wear anything that would reveal their Garments (MoMo Underroos, Magic Underwear). Meaning no low cut tops, no sleeveless anything (JA violated this one a lot!), no midriff tops, no short shorts or short skirts, no cleavage, etc.

You think he is hoping for conjugal visits? Why would he buy them?

Per NG last pm, Jodi has a girlfriend in the slammer.

I guess I did not see it as hinky maybe she did not remember ver-batim.....I remember when Ryan testified for the PA he could not remember anything like in whether he helped Jodi with putting the license plate back on car correctly....how could you not remember that? but yet many posters were very forgiving of him stating it had been several years. It seems like depending on which side someone is on that the latitude someone is afforded here changes drastically.

So does this mean that there are actually people on this thread who are ON Jodi's "side"?

You're absolutely right! I have participated (gleefully, at times) in the "🤬🤬🤬🤬-shaming". It's caused me some ambivalence. I oughta know better. Sometimes, though, in the middle of all of this bloody and heartwrenching evidence, I look for something to laugh about. I apologize to anyone whom I've offended.

I'm not going to apologize for my participation. I see no reason too. Frankly, I'll save my outrage for wenches that slaughter and lie and lie to save their own butt!

Even Nancy thought she was nuts.Too bad there isn't a good crime show that would cover trials and legal stuff , but without the histrionics we get on HLN shows.I watch HLN but only because there's nothing else. But maybe that's the only way to get ratings,I don't know.I would love a more serious,fact-based show with some really good legal eagles.

Don't forget that NG walked into an inmate's cell and laid on their bed, with her boots on the covers . . . opened an inmates milk and opened an inmate's lunch and proceeded to eat the peanut butter off of the sandwich. . . . . I bet some inmate went without a meal because of NG. . . . . that would throw off Joe Arpia's entire budget to be over a 45 cent meal for this month.

Only adults married in the Temple wear garments.

Okay but we're not looking at your situation. Based on everything you've heard so far, do you have any reason to believe that this young gal had her sights set on Travis or that he had his sights set on her? If yes, can you point to where this came up in evidence? According to what I heard today, she made it sound like Travis was kind of a jerk. At no point in either defense or state questioning was there so much as a hint of interest in one direction or the other. Therefore, it's speculation/fiction.

Yep, I agree with you on this. Actually I thought today's testimony was a
waste of time only showing us the dating, rode trips, and dining rules of the
Mormons. Where's some evidence to get this man some justice!

Dr. Drew just came on. Says he'll have ABE back on tonight.

FYI, Abe was the Cali. man who went out a bit with Jodi once she & TA had broken up. And he says JA was clearly obsessed with TA.

Last night on Dr. Drew, Abe became upset and fussed at the legal expert guests who kept talking while he was explaining his experience / views of Jodi. Let's see if he'll explode again tonight!

Only adults married in the Temple wear garments.

And temple worthy missonaries (who are not married as well).

I know by growing up in the LDS religion that little girls and young teen (in good standing with the church) do not wear bikinis, sleeveless tops, low cut/short/or midriff anything. . . .. it is HIGHLY frowned upon and you will be singled out and asked to change your clothing or not wear that again.

Even non-mormon teens at a Stake Dance when my youngest was in high school were ushered into an anteroom at the church and offered "conservative clothing" to change into if they wished to stay at the dance. Her best friend walked out after refusing to dress in an "old lady maxi skirt".

Thanks. I realize what the pic was, but I'm wondering why legally it was not allowed to be shown.

I don't think the issue was that it couldn't be shown, it was an exhibit. I think the issue was the fact it upset the family because they did not realize it was coming and had no time to prepare for it so they reacted and defense felt it influenced the jury. That was my understanding. jmo

He appeared in court as a telephone:)

Why am I now considering that my thoughts of "what the heck is the DT doing, they are flailing"......and just going on about nothing.........

I think perhaps it is to just give time for them to go over in their minds other nonsense as to the trial focus, premeditated murder........kinda like what we have been doing here for many many days. Just discussing what is someone wearing, ooooh, someone ran out of court, ooooh etc etc etc.

Also, this dressing like atty, it must be in the legal book also for something to talk about as for weeks, the jurors in another case a few months back dressed alike, and so much talk.........and focus taken away from the main point of the entire trial. It appears to me......Jose Baez style ..........confuse and distract........

As an example, just a cursory look on discussions here have been to focus on other stuff............perhaps at the end of each post, I'll do.......

It is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer that Jodi killed Travis, in cold blood

According to Mormans murder is the worst sin of all.

So, do you think it's possible that the last two witnesses might appear to be "on Jodie's side" because of the death penalty being on the table? Maybe it has nothing to do with her, but with their religious beliefs...unless Mormans don't count the death penalty as murder.

Can a Morman weigh in?

I am still trying to figure out what the defense considers deviant. Talking about sex? Naked pictures? Anal sex? Boyshorts and pigtails? Phone sex? Since Jodi participated in all the above, that would make her a deviant as well.

Unfortunately, I think they are headed toward pedophilia.

I thought the entirety of them both was a waste, huge waste of my time.
