Jodi's insides must be churning to know that even tho Lisa didn't end up with Travis... She has everything that Jodi will never have.. a good life... a husband... and a new baby.
I don't know, defendant like wimmin' now.

Give me a break. Since when is it odd not to be married by 30?

When you're a Mormon or other religion where you're expected to have a large family.

Did she mention HOW she found out that Travis cheated on her with Jodi? How did she react? DETAILS PEOPLE, I'm dying here.

Nobody to sit with Jodi.
She's just sitting there alone.

Lisa is waiting with her arms crossed over her stomach area. Protecting herself.
Jodi seems to be full on staring at Lisa, the witness. It's tense.

Awww, give the attorney a break. Look what she has to work with! (i.e. Jodi can make any good attorney look bad)

  • #425
so he cheated

so what!!!!!

what does that have to do with premeditated murder?

have they never heard the saying "the more I know boys the better I like my dog?" It happens.....they weren't married....

Good Morning. Watching here. Lisa is fresh faced and lovely. Jodi is quite frightening as she glares and sends out toxic energy.

She is so cute. I LOOOOOOVE Lisa's hair! Printing out a pic today and taking it to my hairdresser.

How is it heresay if she wrote the e-mail? I realize she can't talk about what Travis wrote, but she can talk about what she wrote. Right?

More daggers!

Do we know for sure that TA wasn't, in fact, a "virgin?"

None of us know what all the evidence in this case is.
I don't think the prosecution wants to try to put forward that TA was a virgin - it would KILL their credibility.

This testimony is so stupid imo.

It sounds just like millions of relationships that young people have

BBM:

:seeya: I was thinking the same thing ! It all sounds so JUVENILE, IMO !

It has NOTHING to do with Jodi killing Travis ...

Defense is sooooooooooo desperate !

:moo:

This is an experienced attorney IMO -- this is just a difficult case and the evidence they're trying to get in is going to be hearsay unless it's asked exactly right. Also, prosecution does not usually object this much; usually, it's the defense making tons of objections and trying to disrupt the flow of prosecution witnesses.

Then she should frame the question so that it can't be objected to or move on. IMO

This young lady is going to strike another blow to the defense, just by appearance and mannerisms alone. Such a refreshing contrast to what Jodi is.
I am waiting to see if Lisa will start crying at some point. This has to be so difficult for her, and heartbreaking too. The defense better tread lightly on this one...
Still trying to figure out how any of these defense witnesses so far have, or will, help their case.

:welcome: effervescent, we are glad you decided to join us!!

Great post btw

I have never thought Jodi particularly attractive. But, she is very photogenic. I have known many people like that, usually with her type of big smile. They are prettier in photos than in person.

Agree to disagree? I have never understood people thinking she is beautiful. Flat face and dead eyes. The blond hair-bad color with her skin tone. JMO :twocents:

I know, this has nothing to do with guilt or innocence, but I do love me some gossip.

Hi, Minor4th. Many Mormon men marry women significantly younger than themselves. I think that has been true since the nineteenth century.

In re JA....I have never sat that still or kept my mouth completely closed in my entire life...I don't know how she does it...nothing shakes her....scary.

What on earth was she just leaning forward and glaring at?

No, it's still hearsay even if it's her own statement.

Was that our katie sitting right behind TA's sister?

Hi, ButForFortune. In one of the police interrogations, Jodi mentioned that she had bigger problems with some other people than she did with Travis, but they were still walking around. One imagines that Lisa earned a place on that list.

I really hope that stare I am looking at right now is not directed at Lisa. She is so nervous and probably raised so sheltered in her religion she has never had any experience with the dark side of life.
