For whatever it's worth I appreciate that but since the MURDERER already wanted to plead to 2nd degree MURDER I have no problem saying that Travis Alexander was MURDERED and the MURDERER is in fact the defendant in this trial.

:waitasec:

And I believe I've said twice now that's within your right. Not sure why you keep restating this.

I think I'm missing something here. I'm not sure what this lady is trying to prove with any of these witnesses???????

I believe she is trying to get her client put on death row. :floorlaugh:

So marrying Lisa was going to "cure" him of cheating on her with Jodi? No offense to you, but that's bunk. Guys who cheat on you when you are dating will do it when they are married to you.

If Travis really wanted quit of Jodi, he could have stopped screwing her. Travis was a victim of murder, but it sounds like poor Lisa was the victim of this deceitful dating crap.

Lisa ought to thank her lucky stars she got out of that mess! I really like her. She's got a spine and values.

Again folks let's not take at face value that Travis was routinely screwing Jodi after they broke up. Only JODI claims this. And the only other person who also knows the veracity of that statement has been killed.

Like a lot of ex couples sometimes there are lapses in physical relationships. Sometimes it's only once sometimes more. Let's just not take Jodi's word for it that it was a ongoing thing.

JM, isn't it true that the anger displayed by Travis Alexander where he threw a phone, was due to damage of his vehicle,

Lisa, Yes
JM,no further questions,

.

This may have been asked when JM got that 1 last question of the witness before they released her. I missed what JM asked and this may have been it.

If so, I wish JM would slow down when asking this type of critical question. It is a critical point and wonder if jury missed the point too. Hope not.

I'm a bit distracted by dh and dd and corgis...but is this the "Travis hurt Jodi's feelings and she just snapped" defense? tia

Lacey, everyone of the defense witnesses have been more favorable for the prosecution than the defense. Ive never seen any trial like it. He shuts them down time and time again........one witness after another.

OT: OMG!!!!!!!!!! We just heard a loud crash outside and rushed to the door and our Gazebo is upside down about thirty feet away from where it was. Its ruined and all my clay pots are shattered. It took stone pavers and moved them 20 feet. Please pray that the weather calms down here.

Do you have a tornado coming through?

You can claim whatever you wish.

In a court of law, she is not yet guilty so it is incorrect for either party within the court room (especially with a jury present) to refer to it as a murder, or her as a murderer. This is why an objection was raised, as it should have been.

Thank goodness we arent in a court of law here though.

We already know he was cheating- so what? He deserves to be murdered? This is ridiculous.

She didn't even feel bad about leaving a kitten for 2 weeks alone, and then when it died she acted shocked? IMO she fits the definition of a sociopath, narcissists with a morbid curiosity.

What! What! What!!!!

Big cat person here, I never heard this story before....Where did this come from?

on a scale from 1 to 10 how well do you feel you know Travis? Jodi?

3?

Yep. He got mad enough he threw a phone and scared his girlfriend through anger directed at JA.

She's a naive girl who thought a guy could control his erection while making out! Lisa being "scared" about a phone being thrown isn't the big deal you are trying to make it out to be. IMO.

In fact, Lisa stated in her testimony that she was never in fear of Travis, or did she ever feel threatened.

Oh my god that makes my blood boil. I cannot stand to hear about animals, especially baby animals, being abused. In my view, a person that can treat a harmless animal so cruelly is capable of anything.

Not that I've had doubts Jodi did this. :furious:

The original complaint was about the objection. This is what the dialogue was revolving around, and why I stated the poster is free to claim whatever they wish.

So he was leading a double life & he was perverted (per def), but how does this justify such a brutal death?? They're grasping at thin air imo...

she said that???? wow. can't wait for them to put the "1" people on!

Oceanblueeyes, I'm saying a prayer for you right now.

In reply to the homicide vs murder comment...it's murder. JA confessed to killing him...she's guilty of MURDER. I don't care what legal definition is given and i bet the jurors think the same. She has NO right to claim self defense-there is no defending her and it's offensive that she is given any sense of support. I appreciate more than ever that WS is a VICTIM friendly forum.
