I'd posted about this before but Travis made a new year's resolution/affirmation every year. In 2007 it was to live life like he was dying. On December 31st he'd accomplished every goal he'd wanted to except riding a bull because he just couldn't get past his fear.

Lisa took him to a Walmart and put him on a 25 cent bull ride.

It's a very big deal in the Mormon church. From what I have read, if you're not married by 31, you're kind of in la-la land, not fitting into the norms of the Mormon culture. I think it was important to TA for his image.
