LISA ANDREWS

PART 3

--DT asks Lisa "at one point were you shocked to learn that Travis was not a virgin?" Martinez objects. Counsel approach the bench again.
--"After Travis' death, were you shocked to learn he was not a virgen?" Lisa: "yes".
--DT now asking if during their relationship if she felt that she was doing the right thing with regards to premarital sex? Lisa: "yes".
--Lisa and Travis used to email and text quite a bit. Lisa would email Travis things about their relationship. DT asks to approach the witness. Hands her a copy of an email from Travis from September 23, 2007. EXHIBIT #385. Martinez objects as the email is hearsay.
--Lisa is asked questions about the email.
--In the email Lisa talks to Travis about breaking up. Lisa had hoped that Travis would come to the same conclusion, she felt it was the right decision to break up. Lisa did not want Travis to text or email her anymore after they broke up.
--Lisa felt the relationship started off wrong, she thought that she may have tempted Travis to kiss her. She felt that they were making out "for too long". Each time they made out "it progressively got worse". When they used to make out at the beginning Lisa wouldn't think about sex but after time it was on her mind. Sex was on Travis' mind from the very beginning. Lisa felt it was a mutual that they should have kept their thoughts clean. Lisa felt they both "should have taken a step back". Lisa said in the email she thought that Travis wanted her just for her body, that he has so much sexual tension. Lisa said that it made her feel used and dirty and that if he truely cared for her it would not have been so passionate. Lisa told him that she had told Travis not to "grab her butt" especially in public but he "wasn't really listening". Lisa didn't use words because he didn't like them. Such as "poop", "crap" or "fart". Lisa refrained from using those words around Travis. Lisa asked Travis "not to talk about sex so much, but he did anyway". Lisa felt like Travis didn't care how she felt. She said it was vulger and unattrative for a man to talk about sex so much. Lisa told him that he would "get his turn someday". She told him that she felt he was trying to mold her to be a certain way. Lisa felt Travis was pushing her to be somebody he wanted her to be.
--Lisa now says that the questions are coming out of context. DT gives Lisa a copy of the email so she can follow along.
--Lisa told Travis that she felt that Travis wanted her to be happy for him.
--Travis asked for compliments often and she felt that she would say them but not be sincere.
--In the email, Lisa talked about her day trip to Sedona with Travis, she felt like Travis wasn't paying attention to her. Lisa says "at times" and in her email, out of her frustration she said that Travis wasn't paying atttention to her during the trip.

Lisa told TA that she felt TA was too obsessed with sex, do not grab her butt - - especially not in public, words she didnt use because he didn't like - poop/crap/fart. . . . Lisa asked him not to talk about sex so much, felt like he didn't care about her feelings, Lisa said she felt it was vulgar and unattractive to talk about sex so much, told him to be patient and he would get his turn someday - felt he was trying to mold her into someone he wanted to be .. ..

Lisa said she feels this is all being taken out of context . ..she is on pg 2 - given a copy of the email defense is reading.

Lisa felt TA wanted him to be happy for him but not him for her, he wanted compliments often but she didn't feel she could continue togive them and be sincere, talked about trip to Sedona with him - felt he was not paying attention to him @ times during the trip. ...

Lisa inferred that he TA was saying she should be happy to be able to go to Sedona with him . . . .

Talked about a time when she got home from Calif and he got home from Vegas . . . objectio n

If you can't do the nasty until your married in the Mormon religion I'd be sunk.

Ok so the email was not admitted into evidence but the DA is allowed to basically read the email by the way she is asking the question?

Look like the DA won the sidebar on that one.

A slutty girl is like the first slice of bread in a loaf. Everybody touches it but nobody wants it.

Hmmmm.... this is going towards painting TA as a sex-obsessed controlling boyfriend, it seems.

Except I have had these exact convo's with plenty of boyfriends, this is not completly abnormal by any means!

This is exactly why I like to say my words instead of writing them down ... no paper trail to get hauled into court.
:D

People say things in frustration and things get misconstrued

I am not seeing it the same way you are.

Me either......she is very forthcoming even though this has to be hard for her and embarrassing too.

I think the jury likes Lisa.

She comes across as a very nice honest young woman.

Jeez, normal girl / boy stuff!! Really??!!

there's only a couple questions that she should be asking here:

did he beat you
did he lunge at you
were you afraid of him
did he come after you with a butcher knife

This nonsense is irrelevant. It sounds like he treated her with kindness and respect.

:waitasec: Ok,,,,, Lisa is so likeable,,,such a sympathetic witness. These questions about her and Travis making out,,,,,and about their emails,,,,,,are making me horribly uncomfortable for her - and PO'd at the Defense Team.

How can this possibly help JA????? It just makes me loathe her more.

:seeya: I see nothing attractive about her. Something is very, very odd about her, but I can't put my finger on it.

Did you see the photo of Jodi clutching a bloody knife? When you see her doing something she enjoys, where she feels comfortable (a blood soaked room) it all becomes clear. She looks odd because Jodi Arias is not one of us humans.
