Jurors are excused . . . .
without Jury in courtroom witness allowed toanswer why. . . .

Objection

Afternoon break

that happened a lot in the Anthony case. They would ask questions (ie Tony Lazarro) without the jury in the room to determine what would be admissible. But an attorney could prolly explain it better.

Not implying that anyone isn't smart enough to already know this, but even by definition, yes- Travis was murdered.

Noun
The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.
Verb
Kill (someone) unlawfully and with premeditation.
Synonyms

This requires Jodi Arias to be found guilty of a premeditated, unlawful killing. The State of Arizona is attempting to prove this right now in court.

I agree with others....wish every court allowed questions...

what did Beth say the judge was doing that is unconstitutional?

is there court tomorrow?

I for one totally hate this schedule, I feel for the poor jurors having to clear their schedule for so long and to not be able to look at news for this long. unfair.

Ok hear this thought out that just popped in my noggin..

Jodi's 2nd story about what happened with two intruders that attacked and killed Travis (one male one female)..I wonder in her thought process, if she was implying that it was Lisa who was the female who attacked Travis. Since Lisa was the one woman he was seeing around the same time as Jodi. Plus isnt this the same woman Jodi slashed her car tires with Travis's?

Also I could see Travis losing his temper that his tires were slashed twice while Lisa was there and Travis apologizing...

Dunno just random thoughts

If that turns out to be the case if I was a juror I would highly be pissed off. It looks like the shady defense attorneys are being dishonest and they would be.

Anyone that had their tires slashed would be angry.

More and more I cant stand this DT.

To use this against the victim is unforgivable and reprehensible sleazy behavior.

IMO
The point is that Jodi liked slashing Travis' things with a big sharp knife and that's how Travis was killed. That was a major blunder into which the defense stupidly wandered. They opened up this topic by asking about Travis showing anger.

Right next to Beth in the hall who's talking about how what the judge is doing is unconstitutional - now corset lady is accosting her

Any details on why Beth is claiming that about the judge?

The most important rule of Websleuths is, don't insult emus. :snooty:

Should I admit I have pure 100% emu oil and I use it as a facial moisturizer?

No wrong, it is a murder. Travis was murdered, he didn't have an accident or suicide.

Technically, in court, it's a homicide right now. If Jodi is found guilty of any degree of murder it will then be a murder If the jury were somehow to find that she was defending herself, it will then be a justifiable homicide -- not a justifiable murder. Totally valid objection, imo.

The State is allowed to call Travis the victim because both a homicide and a murder can have a victim since the term doesn't turn on the culpability of the defendant.

Yes agree agreee

Lisa knows, and Jodi too, that she was the something special that Jodi would never be.
She knows that she had Travis's time and attention because of the morals that she was standing by..and she knows Jodi was a second thought. That second date on Friday nights after you take you girlfriend home. So let her show it.

Not debating this anymore. You are legally wrong. There are verified attorneys here posting. Please take advantage of their expertise

Juan was going to show her a photo of Travis on the autopsy table.

And then ask her if she would ever do that to Travis.

imo

I couldnt speak... I couldnt move... I couldnt type... all I could post was WOW! THAT was.... I dont even have words for what that was.

Lisa was an absolute FANTASTIC witness. Juan Martinez should by the DT dinner to thank them for putting her on the stand. I was so worried she would say bad things about Travis. I was almost in tears the way she talked about him... knowing what he endured by the hands of Jodi Arias!! Wow!

All they would have asked was :"what's for dessert"?

Boy, don't you just wonder how much weight they gained during that whole sequester? What with the fancy restaurant food, desserts, late-night treats, free room service and all...

Not an attorney, but I've worked with quite a few. One thing I know - never ask a question unless you know the answer.

That one will leave a mark.

The jury wasn't present, were they? if not, shuxx!
