Let me guess..."progressives?" I gave up within a few hours and went back to my single vision readers and life was OK again.

Lined bifocals. I had them before, the prescription just changed.

Should I admit I have pure 100% emu oil and I use it as a facial moisturizer?

Lisa knows, and Jodi too, that she was the something special that Jodi would never be.
She knows that she had Travis's time and attention because of the morals that she was standing by..and she knows Jodi was a second thought. That second date on Friday nights after you take you girlfriend home. So let her show it.

YES ! And I think the jury is starting to see all this :great:

I wonder if the Casey Anthony verdict would have been different had Florida allowed jury questions after every witness.

You think the Pineallas 12 would have asked questions??? no way. That would have taken some effort.

ok, I missed the thing that happened to cause Jody and several ppl in the gallery (TA's family) to burst into ters, lean over, leave the courtroom, etc. I must say its prob ther first time Jody authentically cried, or shes been practicing and is getting better at faking it.

SO WHAT HAPPENED? What was said or asked to make everyone bawl?????

PPPPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEEE tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The DA asked the witness, Lisa, if based on all of those things that Travis had "put her through" she believed it was okay to do this to someone... and then he put up, for the entire court room to see, a picture of Travis' neck wound.

That's why his family started crying and his sisters left the room.

Having watched 2 trials in person (only a few days in court in each case and the rest online), it is much more interesting than it appears. There's a lot going on around you, you get to chat with the media folk, if you know the victim's family/friends you chat with them, and of course let's not forget all the inappropriate flirting you can accomplish with cute detectives or say....a prosecuting attorney, for instance.

What a dictionary states and what a Court of law state are two entirely different things.
Legal experts here have said the same thing. I'm not sure where the contest lies.

Hoping it's that Travis and Lisa were smooching when Jodi came in the doggie door!

I thought it was hilarious when the defense attorney asked Lisa if Jodi came in the front door LMAO I wonder if she saw the photos of Jodi's mug poking through the doggie door.

Did Jodi slash Travis' tires with the same knife she used to kill him?

Ok hear this thought out that just popped in my noggin..

Jodi's 2nd story about what happened with two intruders that attacked and killed Travis (one male one female)..I wonder in her thought process, if she was implying that it was Lisa who was the female who attacked Travis. Since Lisa was the one woman he was seeing around the same time as Jodi. Plus isnt this the same woman Jodi slashed her car tires with Travis's?

Also I could see Travis losing his temper that his tires were slashed twice while Lisa was there and Travis apologizing...

Dunno just random thoughts

That's a good point of view. But I tend to think she wasn't targeting anyone special, hence why she couldn't give the detective any real identification information about them. If she would have described a girl that looked sort of like Lisa then I could agree more.

It seemed she just wanted the detectives to leave her alone and look elsewhere.

Murder is a legal conclusion of criminal responsibility for an unlawful homicide, that hasn't happened yet here. I'm sure it will, I could be wrong, but it's not murder right here, right now.

Legally, can't they say what's on the death certificate (which I would assume would be homicide). It wouldn't say killed, or murdered. So I do believe Juan shouldn't be throwing around the term Murdered just yet.

Just MO.

My new glasses are making me queasy. I've got to get used to them.

If anybody gives a :censored:

It they are progressive lenses, don't give up! It took a week or so of wearing mine most all the time to get used to them. Now I would never have the other type.

And since it became public knowledge that Jodi Arias was willing to plead guilty to second degree murder can we put it to rest that Travis was murdered?
You can claim whatever you wish.

In a court of law, she is not yet guilty so it is incorrect for either party within the court room (especially with a jury present) to refer to it as a murder, or her as a murderer. This is why an objection was raised, as it should have been.

NO!

Hopefully they prepared them as prescribed. I'd let them know! I have progressives, my third pair plus fourth being sunglasses and I love them.

"tumescent: omg :what:
I KNOW!!! As opposed to Mr. Nummi screaming his obscenities yesterday, Mr. Martinez's gentlemanly manner with this witness is lovely. I think he is taking a very fatherly way with her, and talking to her in a very genteel way; as one would a "lady". I think we will see him talking to the defendant in a very different way.:moo:
