She was charged with 2nd degree after the first trial ended hung with 2 jurors holding out for manslaughter. :what:

Betty Broderick was a total nut job. There are tons of women who are left by their husband for a newer and younger version of themselves but they don't break into their house and shoot their ex and the new wife while they sleep.

I was appalled at that case and the jury wanting to give her the lighted conviction as possible. Her husband was a jerk, cad, and a cheater for sure but that never gives someone license to kill.

Sure. As far as photos go, Jodi took zillions of self portraits. It is assumed Travis took the "graphic" body parts pics of Jodi.. I am not going to assume that, especially considering Jodi's character and track record. It would be great if Prosecution explored TA's computer for any evidence that he took those types of pics, or viewed them.. and then checked Jodi's.

As far as bondage and "kinky" sex being Travis' thing... so far, the source always seems to be Jodi's insinuations and her apologists. She also stated that "they shared online passwords because of mutual distrust"... REALLY? Shall I take her word for it? More likely that SHE is a liar and trespassed all boundaries.. in MANY ways.

I am not saying Travis was a virgin... nor that consensual sex games are wrong.. just that I am not going w/ the subtle innuendos that have been bandied about. Unless I am convinced fairly otherwise. So far.. lies, lies and forged letters, for example. Also, Jodi shows up w/ braided pigtails... and I should assume? that this is Travis' sexual fantasy? Doubt that. Furthermore, maybe she thought she'd lose less hair in the struggle to follow (and that Travis wouldn't find a hair net sexy). Also, don't think she snapped at all, but was very methodical.

I don't see how JA will be found NG but she could get life, which she rightly deserves for murdering TA. She may have been beat up emotionally but that IMO never justifies murder.

I would rather her get LWOP -- If she gets the DP, she will be back in the headlines with appeals, etc., etc., until it is overturned (and then what would happen -I don't know AZ law at all) or until she is executed.

With LWOP, she would be put in a cell -- and maybe have an appeal or two -- and then forgotten, as far as jurisprudence is concerned.

She's not important enuff for us to officially ever her about her again, and IMO, LWOP would do just that for us & for her -- put her heinous hiney in a closet. (And would she then be barred from making $$ from her "artwork"? I hope.)
