Actually, what the ME said was that he didn't know that the gunshot wound would be fatal in and of itself (it could have been but also maybe not or not immediately) but it definitely *would* have made Travis incapacitated and unable to defend himself. Thus there wouldn't have been defensive wounds to his hands as one example. And since there were defensive wounds to T's hands, that's one indication of many that at least some of the stab wounds came first.

Yep...the defensive wounds were another of my points. But, as I said, not gonna fight this battle anymore...:)

Just in from work, would someone be so kind as to just give me a short summary of court today? please...:)

Some tweets about possible new evidence. Not sure if for prosecution or defense. Otherwise, wise cracks about seals and sex tapes. HTH
Yeah, but not about seals having sex, silly!:floorlaugh:

so as a juror.... what would you think right now? lol sitting for 2 hours... then they usher you into the elevator so you can get 'snacks'. And if we see tweets about them being seen, obviously they seen everyone too, so they see all the spectators in the lobby. I'd be thinking wth?

i'd be a terrible juror because i'd be sending the judge a note saying 'can we move this along?'

:great:

if it helps my had dementia and when she would lose balance she would call it "tipsy"--everytime I would explain this to her doctors I would get lectured that she shouldn't drink....I can't tell you how many times that subject was covered...mom didn't drink--towards the end it was rough getting her to take medication---calming as well as medically-

Maybe they are getting snacks because they will be working late?

And that precludes this from being one of those 4-7% of times? Especially when you have a small-caliber round that exited the brain, and only damaged the very front of the frontal lobe?

It does to me.

I agree, though I thought Beth sounds like Kermit the Frog. But "strangled" works as well. LOL!

To me she sounds like marvin the martian

Ok headed to work :( Nicole the advocate is giving my card to the family now- they will know who I am when i return Monday- rode down the elevator w det Flores and his wife- also Beth k - I am making many good contacts- more tonite
I'm going to be nosey and ask who you are, if you can say?

OMG do you think they have been searching the desert again and found her clothes and weapons?

This will cause a delay if she lets it in though. Nurmi will demand a delay so his experts can look at the new evidence.

If this is what it is.
Maybe the tornado turned it up :)

Just FYI, Gabby Giffords head wound was not anything like the shot to Travis' head. I can say from personal experience that I have also seen gunshots to the head and just speaking from my own experience, many more die from gunshot wounds to the head than those who live. The statistics say anywhere from 4-7% survive gunshot wounds to the head. It just doesn't happen that often.

Also depends on the caliber gun correct?
