All I can guess is according to the defense because Travis was a morman when he was cold bloodedly murdered the only way he deserves justice is if he was a saint.:banghead:

Thanks, Ocean, for putting it in that perspective -- as I believe all this mormon talk is horrible (nothing against mormons). But that the defense team is trying to say that TA must have lived 2 lives, and because he was a mormon he couldn't possibly be with Jodi and another girl at the same time. Or have sex. What a dreadful sinner - he deserved this!!

But who was sneaking through his doggie door, slashing his tires, and slashing his neck?

Get this Freeman dude off the stand - everything he's saying is irrelevant! And Travis being a mormon is irrelevant IMHO.

MOO

Jodi helped his foster sister with her photography?!?

"Here's how you take a picture of your naughty bits...and here's how you made your naked body appear thinner on film....and here's my preferred method of dragging a murder victim into a shower...and"

No idea. I agree with the other attorney who posted (sorry- trying to remember names). I think they are trying to hold him to the Mormon standard of things and trying to show he may have fallen short.

But, goodness gracious, even in the Mormon faith, he would have always been loved and welcomed and cherished. And, it looks to me like he was trying to decide between two worlds. To me, it looks like he was able to live the Mormon lifestyle with support when JA wasn't around, but when she was, he did things he wasn't probably proud of.

It makes me so sad for his family to have to go through all this. It is my understanding they are Mormon too and probably didn't know a lot of this before the murder. How awful to have to sit through this.

Mormon youth do mess up. Everyone messes up. Get over it. He was a good guy. He was trying, like we all are. Most of the times where Mormon youth don't follow the standards as far as sex, they went to far because they were in love, etc. and "messed up." But, here, I don't think Travis had a fair chance. This was more than sex. This seems to be an obsession with someone who was bent on getting her way. He was outgunned with her. Particularly as Mormon kid, who did serve a mission, to me (JMO), she was far more sophisticated and conniving than he could have handled....or anyone, for that matter. It makes me very sad to see them try to bash his character. So sad. This isn't even a fair match to begin with.

Hope I am making sense....venting!

you are....

ahhhhhhhh here we go... he "became closer" to Jodi after she and Travis broke up.

(but he says she is a "sister")

  • #352
She became a sister!

  • #353
She had a three-some (visit) with Daniel and his sister

  • #354
By the way I will be here all day Monday

  • #355
That answers the question of him traveling with his 'sister' now... and another couple. He viewed Jodi as a "sister" too.

JA is a well established liar who is incredibly gifted. The fact that this young man believed her religious talks is irrelevant! He is no match to see through narcissistic character traits. He was another pawn. This is making me so sad.

And I can sit through and read a lot of legal speil without it boring me.

This line of questioning is wearing my interest paper thin tbh.
