Oh cripes. Jodi became a sister to their family.

I believe Tanisha, Samantha, Steven, Allie, Gary, Greg, and Hillary would like their brother back. :furious:

Why'd he tell Jodi that Travis had been found?

Witness talking about notifying the defendant of Travis

Hmm, seem like Jodi was staying close to the "family" to keep an eye on Travis. Hell I think Danny boy has a stiffy for Jodi.. and jealous of Travis.

Vinnie is reading TA's blog on IS . . . . TA talks about the "God" within him . . . .the King within the man and his search for an eternal partner . . . .

It occurs to me that JA knew enough about the LDS religion to know that . . . .

If TA told her he was not going to see her anymore because he didn't want to have sex anymore and was going to "repent" for his sexual activities and attempt to regain his "temple worthiness" again . . . . . .. . Was this JA's way of making sure TA died before he had an opportunity to do the "right thing" . . . . Choose the Right (CTR)?

Just another way of making sure that TA could
1) Not leave her to marry a virginal good Mormon woman for time and eternity?
2) Not achieve his highest goal (ie: Reaching the Celestial Kingdom and becoming a "God" himself?
3) Not chose to live his life (and time/eternity) without her?

Just some things to ponder with JA's understanding of the Religion aspects in her relationship with TA . .. .

I respectfully disagree. I don't think Mormon belief factors into JA's motivations. Jodi is an "annihilator" -- She needed closure, and she couldn't have it knowing that Travis was moving on ..being happy/fulfilled and successful. If Mormon belief meant anything to Jodi she also would have wanted to go through repentance, etc. Her baptism was just a convenience to be attractive to Travis. But she lacked commitment and conviction to do even that... respect Travis's beliefs enough to be wife material to him.

ITA.

I also am getting annoyed by the way Nurmi keeps banging on about Travis not conforming to the church standards.

Yes, he was an elder, I get that. But equally, JA was a member and she also broke her vows.

It wasn't just a one way street. She wasn't co-erced in to sexy time. She was a willing participant too.
Oooo, Juan just got to that- that just maybe Jodi's baptism wasn't sincere since she was having oral sex!!! This is getting good!

It's almost he's a character witnesses in the penalty phase, and we aren't even there yet. Other than saying he considered her a sister, a friend, what is he offering that shows cause for her self-defense claim?

Mr Mormon Attorney... Can I ask, if the Mormon religion has an OFFICIAL stance on death penalty? If you don't want to discuss this I undersatnd. Thanks

this guy gave Jodi the call that Travis was dead

(you do know she killed him...right?????)

didn't he give a different version of how he told her on 48 hrs?

The defense always looks very nervous when Juan gets up to do his cross. LOL

"I don't speak very much at all."

Bwahahahaha! Our preheating ovens say differently.

  • #378
Did it come out when Jodi first jumped Travis's bones?

  • #379
Did you see his smirk when Juan asked him if Jodi admitted killing Travis?????

  • #380
