By the time JA gets on the stand (if) and says he is abusive, the defense will have already interviewed half a dozen witnesses who said he wasn't abusive and that they can't remember him hitting ANYTHING, let alone a person. I have never seen anything like this....

They would have been better off putting one witness only on the stand and that is Jodi.

None of these other people have anything to add to her defence.

I believe they have gotten it far longer than some have thought they did.

I was never worried about the questions they asked Flores. These are critical thinking jurors.............they will come to the right decision.

IMO

Also, IIRC the jury did NOT ask questions of his sister.....because it would have been a waste of time because she had NO INFORMATION!!!

So what? They wouldn't take turns knocking poor little Jodi around on Fight Night parties? :what:

Oh gee, look at that, another defense witness never saw Travis ever be abusive towards Jodi, physically harm her, or call her names.

One thing I did find interesting about this chap was him testifying that Jodi didn't really get mad at him for taking her warpaint out of the backpack but she had to argue with TA about it...just saying.

She must be in one of the other courtrooms following a different trial. :floorlaugh:
She's actually watching the extradition hearing of Juan Valdez. I don't think Jean speaks Spanish. :floorlaugh:

:great: I knew it!

Last night after their testimony I commented about a facebook comment posted by Tanisha. She was heartbroken supposed friends of Travis were continuing to visit Jodi in jail. (I think it may have been on his memorial page which sadly they set to private a couple of days back. I loved reading his friends and family's accounts of him. :()

I don't know if this was already stated here. I am playing major catch-up!
It is said that Daniel Freeman was the "friend" that Jodi claims called her and told her that Travis was dead. If you remember she called, according to Det. Flores, when he was at the crime scene initially, and that surprised him.

Disagree it made them hand out those jury questions, so I'm happy something was taken from it.

I agree... the defense is actually disproving what they are trying to prove (did that make sense) and the jury GETS it!

Now really. They broke for lunch and Jean casaures came on HLN and says, well, there you have it, we have just seen this jury begging to have someone say that they saw Travis Alexander abuse Jodi Arias. Is she watching the same trial?

Jinkasaurus used to be a favorite of mine. What the heck has happened to her?

eta
ohoh, hope it's okay to use a made up name for her?

There is a talking head telling Jean Casares that the Defense will spin it that Travis only hit her in private- but... Jean did say where are the bruises to prove it?

i can't abide jean. i disagree with her that the jury was 'begging' the witness for info about abuse----i think they knew exactly what they were asking.

about the bruises.....this girl takes pictures of everything---by her own admission.

why didn't she PHOTOGRAPH her 'bruises'?

Their entire self-defense was supposed to be based on Travis being verbally (and sexually) abusive to her... yet all of the defense witnesses have debunked those false accusations.

These myths have been denied by DEFENSE witnesses that Travis did not verbally or physically abuse or demean JA, and further we've heard that JA herself was sexually experienced and aggressive before Travis - so he was not responsible for corrupting or pressuring her sexually.

From my understanding the defense was NOT accusing Travis of being physically abusive or intimidating towards JA, yet what did we just hear? All Nurmi had left to cling onto was "Tell me more about UFC" and "Did you ever see Travis hit a punching bag?" They have NOTHING. The only one left to make accusations is JA and she has zero credibility. She's got to testify and she's going to get FRIED by Juan. I can't wait.

From the questions from the jury... They are thinking the same thing. They aren't a bunch of dummies. Great questions from the jury!!

The court system in our state is broken. Over-burdened judges (at EVERY level) is one of the biggest problems. I assure you, this judge is NOT getting a 2-hour lunch. She's probably eating a power bar while reading over the file for the next case they throw in front of her. She'll see cases starting at 9, back to back, until 5.

I love this judge.

When Freeman listed the items he removed from the backpack, makeup, hand sanitizer, body lotion, I was SURE he was going to say, "a family sized bottle of KY".

Quality of jury's questions - A +
Quality of defense questions - Whatever is below an F

Just keeping it real... that is not really fair: What questions would the jury ask if they wanted to prove that Jodi is innocent? (There aren't any! :great:)

Mike Brooks is cracking me up on Insession. He said that the jury is asking, "Where's the beef?".
