There were no drugs found in his system during the autopsy

Since we are all staring at the good ole Arizona seal right now, does Travis look drugged in those pics?

I didn't get to follow the first part of the trial so I may be repeating something that's already been addressed. But, in the pics, he looks fogged to me. Could she have administered something to him and then taken the pics?

The reason I ask is that I find it hard to believe she thought she could overtake him with the knife as a first choice. (Since shot was fired later). She had a camera and a knife so don't think she could hold a gun too. He is pretty strong. Would you risk going in with a knife first? There is a chance he could overpower her....unless....she knew he had been drugged and was more sluggish.

Again, apologize if this is old ground, but it's bugging me.

How his body was positioned lends itself to him being shot first (he was sitting with the head wound agsinst the wall of the shower and away from the shower door.

Thanks. Alcohol could do it too. I just wondered with the length of time his body had to decompose before testing if there was a chance she administered something else. He really looks out of it. But, if he had some alcohol, she might have felt more comfortable going in with the knife first. I just don't think that, unless she thought he was somewhat out of it, she would try the knife first. Too risky that he could overtake her, even with the shower and all. And, holding a camera, she couldn't hold a gun too.

I think she shot him first, and it didn't work how she intended so she had to go fetch a knife.

I still can't believe there are people who somehow believe that insults or percieved wrong doings can justifyably equate to murder. WOW

Note to self: Get road rage under control! If I roll down the window & call someone like that the wrong name they might feel their life is in danger & shoot me!

I always felt sorry for Betty Broderick----if I was in her place I might have done something drastic. I always say though ...don't do the crime if you can't do the time......

I think she should have been convicted of first degree and gotten the death penalty.

The only good outcome to come out of that case is Broderick is her own worst enemy and because she is still so arogant, self centered, and remorseless the parole board will never let her out.

Duct tape has been thought to be from what some lifters do in the weight room to see how strong their muscles are. They wrap tape around a bicep and then see if they can break it off by flexing. He was seen with the duct tape impression on his arm in one of the shower pics, so I think it was innocuous.

Was the duct tape around arm mentioned at all in trial?

Not really. Just pics. You can see it on his arm in the bed pic... and where it was on his arm in a shower pic.

Could never figure that one out...It was all jealousy on her part-it wasn't as though he left her high and dry. Then she also found a boyfriend but was just so into ruining her ex's that she couldn't move forward...no sympathy for her at all--I hope she remains in prision:jail:

Interesting...the casing could have later been kicked or knocked on to a spot of blood after the knife incident. That makes some sense to me.

Don't see duct tape being 'broken' very often IMO.
