Thats really the bottom line isnt it? Truthfully even though I do believe the ME totally because it lines up with the timeline and forensic evidence imo in the end it really isnt an issue for me nor the Judge.

Either way it is one of the cruelest murders Ive ever kept up with. Enough that she deserves the death penalty.

IMO

I totally agree with you! I don't care enough to look it up because I am done arguing with those who will never change their minds anyway. But, I re-listened to the ME's testimony at least 4 times and the things that he said were obvious that the shot to the head in a person Travis' age, trajectory, etc. would not have allowed Travis to live for more than a few seconds afterwards. There is no way that he would have had time to get up, try to defend himself, go to the sink in the bathroom, bleed there and THEN go to the ground. It just doesn't make sense to me and I know what he said. But, the cruelty of this attack is such that each and every one of the wounds would be horrendously savage!

I'm not sure why everyone seems so surprised about what is going on right now. We knew that the sex tapes were coming up and I would think that most likely the judge is not going to allow in every ooohhhh and ahhhhh from either of the people on the tape. That's what makes most sense to me anyway.

Yep, I agree and posted this earlier. It would still be nice if prosecution did have new evidence.

I was just going to say, less than an hour until the end of the court day.

In a person Travis' age, he has two brains ... if you know what I mean. ;)

It sounds like Jodi used her two or is it three brains more.:floorlaugh:

Someone mentioned that there may be some truth weaved into the tale of the two ninjas. That got me to thinking, remember JA said that she heard Travis saying that he couldn't feel his legs.

I know NOTHING about the human brain other than we need it :P. Can someone with better medical knowledge than me tell me if the part of the brain he was shot effect the use of his legs?

IMO, I think JA only said that about his legs to show why, in her latest story, she had to leave him behind when she fled from the ninjas.

No news. Still waiting in the hall outside the courtroom. Arizona court rules allow the judge to seal the courtroom from the public at certain times. A defendant must convince the judge there is a "clear and present danger" to his or her "right to a fair trial by an impartial jury" (if the public were to hear whatever is now happening behind closed doors). It seems to be happening a lot in this trial.

The only thing that I'm confused about is whether what was brought in is from the prosecution or the defense. Some are saying prosecution has new evidence. Some saying defense brought in something in a brown paper bag. Which is it?

Judge "listening" to some evidence behind closed doors in #JodiArias case... I think it's the PhoneSex tapes... We'll see!!!

I would think if it was the (expected) tapes, this would have been determined prior to the beginning of the trial. Makes more sense that this is new. imo

And it was in a large paper bag? Sex tape on reel-to-reel tape maybe?

It's the notarized list of the 696 ladies Gus Stearcy dated before proposing to Lucky Miss Employee of the Year!:floorlaugh:

IN MY OPINION - it's inexcusable if this evidence hasn't already been reviewed.

I hope it's something new or this is even more sideshow-y than I previously thought.

Maybe DB's ex wife taped a conversation with him. One or two party knowledge in California?

  • #1,399
It has to be new evidence the judge is reviewing. If it's from the prosecution side then I would imagine it would reinforce the premeditation of the crime. Maybe Jodi's 'things to do today' list was found.
1. put hair in braids
2. drive to HIS house
3. fool around
4. kill him
5. really
6. really
7. really
8. really
9. really
10. slowly
11. go to what's his name house and repeat #3
