The survival statistic is more than that. I do think that he got shot first and stumbled around enduring the rest of the attack. I am not saying he would have survived with just the gunshot. He probably would have died or had to have been cared for had the gunshot been the only wound.

Yes I read 50% die at the hospital so they make it for some amount of time before they die.

if it helps my had dementia and when she would lose balance she would call it "tipsy"--everytime I would explain this to her doctors I would get lectured that she shouldn't drink....I can't tell you how many times that subject was covered...mom didn't drink--towards the end it was rough getting her to take medication---calming as well as medically-

But TODAY'S pharmacist...O M G... I think she thought i was a junkie because im missing teeth after i had my tumor removed. She asked me why i take hydro morphone and percocet and that maybe my <not being able to eat in 6 days> is a result of my addiction to hard drugs:what:

I told her thanks and i will sure use them like a butt suppository :bananapartyhat:

And that precludes this from being one of those 4-7% of times? Especially when you have a small-caliber round that exited the brain, and only damaged the very front of the frontal lobe?

I had depressed friend that shot herself once in the chest and when that didn't do the trick she put two more bullets into her head with the 22 cal handgun. She didn't die but ended up a quadriplegic and was no longer depressed....sad story.

Oh, those overly diligent pharmacists. Who've never experienced chronic pain.


***NOTE: I've worked in cancer pain management research for decades. I've worked with many an earnest pharmacist who caused patients to feel even crappier for filling their prescriptions. It's an educational process and needs to be more widely required, in my experience. Personal. Experience. 1st degree.***
