Someone should remind this legal giant that the he seems to have forgotten one of the first rules of a sound argument.

Don't engage in character attacks. Attack the argument not the person.

That strategy is ineffective and makes one's position so weak.

He suffers from the affliction what many of us in the legal field call JDitis. Which is the affliction that some attorneys (not all, just pompous ones) get when they believe that only those that hold JDs are worthy of kissing the ground that they float above. CM shows all the earmarks of being afflicted by this very unbecoming disease. I hope he snaps out of it, or at the very least someone slaps it out of him.

Ok - I dont know where else to put this because I dont see a general discussion thread about todays hearing, the one from this morning is locked and the MOD thread scares me, I think it is a 'facts only' thread for mods to post but I dont know...heck, anyway, I wasnt about to start a new thread and fuel this attention seeker any more than already has been but I saw mention of Joy W in the room today; saw her first by CA and then later on the other side...I've been out of the loop for a couple of months and can't quite remember all the details. IF this man ever indeed DID have that "stellar" reputation we've heard about -it was quite a big mistake for him to insert himself into this case. His courtroom performances have been less than outstanding, his motions are not overly well-written - plus he's lost most of them, and his out-of-courtroom behavior has been downright boorish.

He keeps saying "I'm old. I'm old". Yes, he sure is.
