If Lisa's mom was the one who made the 2:38 phone call, I wonder if it was to someone at the party (if there was one)?

to answer questions about the homeless population in the area, occasionally there are one or two at the I-35/ Chouteau intersection, but the lights are short and traffic is light, so not very common, the shopping center festival food is located in is a retail island in a residential ocean, homeless population is almost if not completely 0. The ones who come up to the I-35 intersection right there come from south of 2-10 and usually south of the river. i used to work near I-435 and front st, lots of homeless live there by the river, some for 20 years or more, they stay there because it is mostly warehouse and as long as there is no theft the cops don't bother them.

Dad said "cheating husbands" right?

Say mom had an affair w/a married man whose wife is unable to have kids. Maybe mom & lover do their thing then mom heads home intoxicated. Lover shows up or drops mom off, either way and grabs Lisa. Uhhh......my brain doesn't get me any further than this.

Dad said "people cheating on their husbands". It made no sense in context of compliling a list of possible culprits in a child abduction. Maybe dad had some doubts about mom or someone else specific whom the couple knows was cheating.

In my experience electricians usually work 10 hr shifts or 12 hr shifts not 8. So for instance, if it had been a 10 hour shift, he could have worked from 5-3:30, leaving home at 4:30pm getting home at 4 am. Which makes it all the more interesting that she was seen just after 5 pm at the store with someone else. When the cats away the mice will play??

I agree. Also, the father says he normally gets home at 5pm but recently started nights. If he got home at 5pm normally, his new shift would start at 4:30 or 5pm. in this video:

:rocker:

BBM: Yes, I remember your post ! After I read your post, my "radar" shot up !

And I do find it "interesting" that the very first time JI has to work overnight, there is a "party" ... and the window is open and the door is unlocked ... and Baby Lisa is MISSING !

IMO ... both Baby Lisa's parents have come across as "deceptive" -- as if they are hiding something.

MOO ...

I missed that there was a party....??

No, I believe he said "people who cheat on their husbands"...

I think Dad has just been playing along because he wants Lisa back. I do not believe he was involved in any way.

WebSleuths should NEVER make you, or anyone who reads or posts here, feel trashy.

If you see posts that are violating TOS, alert on them.

ynotdivein-Thank you for the post. I was sort of joking just a bit with my words though. Like, cheap box wine being a staple for me while others did not even know that existed. Websleuths is an amazing forum because, for the most part, everyone is so nice and respectful even if we do disagree. By far the best crime related forum I have ever come across. Thanks everyone and for everyone who runs/started this forum!

No, I believe he said "people who cheat on their husbands"...

It still doesn't make sense to me as to why he would think these people would want to steal a baby.

Maybe he was letting DB know that he knew.....

I don't think we have had boxed wine in a case since the Drew Peterson days.

I got drawn back in....but this time I really am calling it a night. This case is exhausting.

Baby Lisa....where are you sweetie?

Me thinks maybe the "unidentified" man is the camera shy hubby of the wife that won't stay out of in front of the camera saying her husband saw a man carrying a baby in a diaper. Where was he coming home from at midnight?

I can not even believe you said that...
Honestly, that was my very first thought when I watched the video announcing the wine purchase.
Wouldn't that be a kicker!

Why would someone partying at her house take the baby??? For what reason?

I thoght of this at the very first of this case, if JI came in and caught DB and another adult asleep the other person could have grabbed Lisa in fear the JI might kill him and use Lisa as leverage..I can also see that person taking the other cell phones on purpose so 911 was not called till they got away.

DB kept messing up and saying we in that interview then I the one where she stumbled so much with her words.(Who was the other that made the We she stumbled on? )

I know this is far fetched but why did JI say cheating spouses, if he did say people who cheat on their husband then why would a cheating spouse take your child? but that sure seems to infer DB doesn't it.

The only other alternative I can see is if the cheating spouse is yours ( or in this case DB) and was planning on leaving and had sent the baby on ahead with someone else but either feel asleep or got caught before leaving.

I think there's gonna be as many thuds as in Kyron's case before this is over.

Hmmm - if LE went looking at supermarket video for me, I am sure at least one video would include footage of me buying wine with an unidentified man in line behind me. And said man would be unidentified to me as well, LOL. Until I see actual footage of the video with DB, I am reserving judgment that she was actually WITH an unidentified man. All it takes to start a rumor is for someone to twist/misinterpret the facts of a situation. I take everything reported by the media with a grain of salt.

I imagine if DB had a glass of wine or two (or more) the night Lisa disappeared, it would only add to her guilt, might also explain why she didn't check the windows/doors.
