Electricians work 24 hour shifts??

That part struck me as being very odd, too. That's the reason I remember that detail of the journalist's report so vividly. Maybe it was just shoddy journalism.

As any of the other locals can tell you: any of the news stations here can take a pink shirt, and one station might report it as "rose", another would call it "red", and another might even call it "lavendar". MOO

I really think the police might be letting things out a little bit at a time. First the Grand Jury thing this evening, and now this has been "released." Sound to me they are trying to get someone(s) a bit nervous. Lordy, if JI didn't know about this, she could be in a real bad place soon...like out on her own and out of his home..

Why does that sound familiar???

So the neighbor woman & Deborah drank boxed wine (well, in my world it is) while kids watched a movie, not a crime. Exactly, who is this unidentified male (cause we have not seen it) -- could be her husband with the hoodie over his head . . .

Yes, wine with a friend or neighbor and a perfectly innocent explanation for the male were in my original post. That's an option I hope is true.

I just happen to think it's more likely that this is one of the itty bitty gaps in Debbi's time line. There's a reason this info was released to the press. Surely she would remember going to the store less than 12 hours after having done so, but she didn't volunteer that information in any of the interviews she gave. She told us the cell phones were stolen (which LE had chosen not to divulge), but she didn't mention a simple trip to the store. It shows that she has been deceptive and that is concerning, imo. This is conjecture and dot-connecting on my part and clearly labeled as such. Please take it as such - I'm not claiming it as fact.

I posted this yesterday; seems plausible now.

What if there were people in the house visiting earlier? People who were known to be in the house so it wasn't uncommon. Kids fall asleep watching tv, mom falls asleep and people let themselves out. Lights still on. If Lisa had been sick perhaps her mom just fell out exhausted and didn't realize lights were still on. IMHO

I wonder if there are any picnic spots down by the river.

I agree with you statement but we don't know if she told LE she went to the store or not . . . LE has not released WHAT she said to them.

I guess my issue is all of a sudden the MEDIA came out with this info & so many posters are all over the mom now. I have seen posts where Deborah is now accused of having an affair with the teenage boy neighbor/"babysitter".

IMHO, this is not WS behavior! We are victim-friendly & the parents are also victims until LE says so.

If you are referring to my post about was it maybe a teen guy in the video at the store with her... that was not in reference to her having an affair with him but, rather she may have been supplying teens with alcohol.

Wow. What's going on?? Neighbour crying, mom buying wine, unidentified man. Yikes

Is the neighbour where the teen lives?
This.

Me thinks maybe the "unidentified" man is the camera shy hubby of the wife that won't stay out of in front of the camera saying her husband saw a man carrying a baby in a diaper. Where was he coming home from at midnight?

If LE "found" the receipt, then it sounds like Debbie never told them that she went to the store that day. They had to do some investigating, before they found out. So what reason would she have for keeping that a secret?

And where were the 3 kids, they weren't in the video.........

Well if she told LE why did LE go to the store after they found a receipt to request the video?

To check her story. They have to follow up on everything. I think the video indicated the receipt was found in one of the first searches so it took them a while to get around to checking it.

Watch this & listen to it . . .

5 hours prior to Lisa being put to bed, her mother was at the market buying stuff . . .

Parents have not discussed this but a receipt was found during a search by LE

Are there many homeless people that hang around that store? Maybe she was buying a box of wine for one of them instead of money?

Paper plates and napkins could just be incidental.

Still, why wouldn't she mention this person on HER list of suspects. She really just couldn't think of anyone. They gave up the kid with the garage code, which makes me think he didn't have anythng at all to do with it.

Good point. However, they'd need more than plates, napkins and wine for a picnic. They would have had to go to some other store and buy food, not to mention something to drink the wine out of.
Yes, but that would be true no matter where they were going to use the plates and napkins. She might've packed some food and a couple of glasses from home in a picnic basket. I don't know, but I find it hard to believe she would bring a man home, much less have a party, while her kids were in the house. The boys are old enough to tell tales.

Still on the fence, but the grass is looking mighty tempting right about now.

My new theory is that Debbie had a small get together. Innocuous enough, right? Maybe she went in and passed out, on the bed. Everyone else was still up partying, and getting drunk. Someone from that "party" took the baby. Mom knows this, but didn't want to admit it to hubby. Hence the reason she failed the lie detector test.

Now we need to find out who was at the party.

I was just about to post a similar theory....

Was the teenager possibly at the party?

Very true about the local stations! I'm in KC also.

I do seem to remember the 24 hour shift being mentioned, but I never heard it again and figured it was a reporting error.

I'm wondering if this would be a reason for LE to collect DNA? To verify who else was at the party?

Why in the world is she going to buy a homeless man a box of wine?

being watched by the teenage babysitter, who it has been said was there sometime that day, which is why the dna was taken. Right?

I don't think homeless men are that much into wine, are they? Whiskey or beer would be more up their street.
