If you are referring to my post about was it maybe a teen guy in the video at the store with her... that was not in reference to her having an affair with him but, rather she may have been supplying teens with alcohol.

Just saw the video from the grocery store on Nancy Grace. I thought I saw the young man hand DB money at the checkout, so I am inclined to think she was buying the wine for him. You can see why she would have left that out of her story.

ACK! Someone already suggested this. Sorry

Can a store release a video to MSM without LE approval in a crime? Is it legal?
Who did they give/sell it to?

The video is store property, they can release it if they choose to. We still don't know that they have done that yet. The police may have release it.

The neighbor that gave her a ride to the store is not sleuthable. So everyone carry on from here and remember to be careful not to involve people who have not been named in MSM or haven't spoken out.

As far as that FB and the rumors that were brought here today. If it continues I'm sorry to say there are going to be consequences. Once again it was a rumor that was proven false.

:bump: When MSM identifies or LE identifies this person it is open for discussion. I have seen 4 different people named as the person in the video. We are not going to run with rumor.

Thanks.

It explains the two separate transactions as well.

The difference in distance is minute. We are talking maybe a couple of blocks or so. Festival is the larger, brighter, usually has the best sales store of the two. MOST of us go to Festival rather than Thriftway. We are much more apt to run into each other at Festival than Thriftway.

I loved shopping at that Festival store; would stop there on my way home from work.

This is wine in a box for pete's sake...you think these people care about the subleties of temperature's effect on the taste of wine? :floorlaugh:

;)

All this boxed-wine talk is making me :floorlaugh:.

Let me dispell a few myths.

Boxed wine can be cheap and it can be bad, however, some Australian wineries are upping the game with quality wines packaged in this format.

The idea of someone buying a BOX of wine to take it home and get rip-roaring wasted is pretty far-fetched. Most boxes contain the equivalent of 4+ bottles of wine. The average person would vomit welll before consuming that amount. If one really wanted to go on a bender, a cheap fifth of vodka or gin would provide more "bang for the buck" as they say.

One usually buys boxed wine for:

1. A crowd/party (I was the director of a non-profit art group...thus my boxed wine knowledge).

2. A single drinker. This may seem counter-intuitive, but a single one-glass-per-night wine drinker would end up throwing much wine (and $$$) away when buying bottles. The boxed mylar-bag delivery system, allows a light drinker to enjoy one glass per night, while the wine remains "fresh".

~Most~ people who enjoy wine do so with food, friends, and family.

I have to say that in this case I'm "on the fence". I also have no problem with mom having a glass of vino with dinner or perhaps to unwind after the kiddos are in bed.

Cheers! :)

Thanks! I like drinking wine a glass at a time, and end up dumping out lots of wine. I would drink the boxed stuff, but I don't like it. I certainly wish other vineyards would consider packaging like this.

I have missed tons of posts but can someone tell me if there is any confirmation that LE hadn't been told about the trip to the grocery store? It seems that people are assuming to know what LE does/doesn't know and when they were told or by who.

If the guy is underage, maybe he was getting wine for one of his parents (too pickled to drive). She needed stuff at the store, someone needed a drink. A handy little exchange.

When this story first broke wasn't it said police were taking a photo around of DB and this guy at the store and asking neighbors who the guy was?
Who said this? the only photo they are showing ad inquiring about is the bicycle dude.

A fruity red wine accented by fresh citrus flavor. Serve chilled or even over ice.

When you purchase booze at a store do they scan your drivers license or ID there?
They dont scan that I know of but I do know that they have to physically see your id and enter the d.o.b. in the register to 'release' the sale. Some are more lax than others. I personally don't buy very much liquor and haven't bought any from this store for quite some time. They have some of the best produce close, though!

San Antonio here as well :seeya: I love wine, cabs and merlot are my favorites...but I do buy the boxed wine - black box is the name. I hate to waste good wine by drinking a few glasses and then throwing it away - better things to do with my money. Anyway, try it sometime.

As for Deborah taking the young man with her. He had the keys in his hand when they were leaving the store...perhaps she had already been drinking a bit and needed someone to drive her. She seemed in a hurry to get back to wherever she came from!

She was described as having a cold and a cough.

Lisa Irwin is described as white, with blond hair and blue eyes, about 30 inches tall and weighing 26-30 pounds. Her family says that she has two bottom teeth, a small bug bite under her left ear, a beauty mark on her right outer thigh and currently has a cold with a cough.

But where does that equate 'sick'? I just don't get it. My kids, when they had a cold, still ran all around as usual they just had a cough and maybe a cruddy nose.

My parents always joked about this one.

If they found the kitten that day, and they had only a dog, did she buy the kitten any food?

I know that when I buy beer or wine and my daughter-in-law (who is definitely over 21 but looks younger) is with me, they make her show HER ID. This is to make sure I'm not buying alcohol for a minor.
