Thanks for the Aussie Jingle Bells. I printed it out.

Thanks Charlie for the laughs.

I have a technical question. Buffering is driving me crazy. I loaded IE7, but can't figure out how to watch a video with out it's stopping and buffering again. Any solutions?

Merry Christmas to all of you. If we don't check in tomorrow, I hope you enjoy your holidays. Perhaps we'll have an arrest or more news on this case after tomorrow.

   OMG! Out of all the good plugs they could've given the went for the eBay SS sheets angle??

Kinda makes ctv sound a bit on the silly side.

Personally if I was a reporter I would've written a more serious story than that. Really, it only makes ctv look good more than the folks that post there.

Perhaps that was the point of the article ?

Strawberry Shortcake sheets and JaysFan - almost poetic justice...

 It is rather, lol. I certainly think Ms Reporter could've done better than that. It kinda reads like a 'filler' story.

Still not a grandma yet, she's hanging on!

I agree, the reporter could have done better and it seems to me it was not researched in any true fashion - filler - gotta do it type story rather than any kind of commitment.

Baby needs to hang on for New Years then....:)

Haven't seen anything yet, Charlie. Nothing today, but I came home in a freezing fog. I packed a bag this morning with my portable DVD player and a couple of movies, my laptop and some clothes. We have 80% chance tonight, but 100% tomorrow for 2 to 4 and another 4 to 6 tomorrow night. I haven't decided whether I go to work or stay home tomorrow. Brought work home again, so we'll see. I bought some canned goods and Pepsi. We have plenty of meat in the freezer, rice and potatoes. The BarnGod got two large round bales from a fellow not too far from us that raises Thorobreds (races them too). Early this afternoon he drove out to get another 100 bales of oats. The large bales are hybrid sedan grass, tested for nitrates. Yesterday he went for our grain. Brought home 1060 lbs in a big canvas bag. We scooped that into barrels for two hours, then tonight when I came home, we lunloaded the bales off the truck. Backbreaking, but the horses and calves will be happy. He also bought 10 sacks of chicken feed (20% protein) for half price as our two local co-ops are merging. They gave the BarnGod a bag of range cubes (cow cake) that had split and gotten slightly wet. The cubes were fine, not wet at all. So, we're ready if we get hit hard.

Yep, you are going to have some happy critters ! I saw a report on NBC this evening and they were saying Denver could get anywhere between 2 and 4 feet between tonight and Saturday plus drifting on top of that - sounds like the airport might get shut down again - been a little rough for Denver lately.
Take care !:)

Just saw the weather on a Denver channel, looks like we'll get the brunt tomorrow.

Charlie, here's our special blend of grain.

850 lbs roasted oats
110 lbs roasted soy beans
40 lbs Triple V
40 lbs soy oil
20 lbs molasses

This keeps them peppy, shiny and fit during the winter. Total price $154.05 We may change the blend in the Spring. Alfalfa is scarce here right now, so using oats hay and whatever grass we can. It becomes inportant to get protein from the grain.

That mix makes me hungry ! Not a bad price at all either. Around here hay is getting a bit scarce for some. Most everyone only got one cut this year - second cut was out of the question due to drought. I've got enough to get through and had a fair amount of extra that I sold but I am at the point I am hesitant to sell anymore. Mostly Bermuda here but I did have 15 acres in alfalfa/lespidesa, so far everyone is doing well with that and some rolled oats with assorted grains and the sweet molasses. I don't really dare to up the protien too much - they are already high strung for the most part and of course our weather has been pretty good with the exception of that first week in December. Spoiled, pampered, brats !

:D O----------------------

Got me !
