I pretty much stay confused about which thread something should post in, but I'll try this one. If it needs moving I'm sure Kimster will take care of the issue, lol.
First, I wanted to make you aware of a site I ran across while looking for something unrelated to this post. The link below is a great resource for old information. The site has no editorials, no comments, just articles with links posted. Something you have been trying to find may be here:

While at this site, I read 3 or 4 articles with info about the RC/JO fight, gun, etc. There were apparently several people talking about a fight that RC decided to deny ever happened. What was new information, at least to me, was that the alleged fight happened, or didn't happen, on Sunday February 8th,
the day before Haleigh went missing:
Family members of Ronald Cummings say he got into a fight with another man over a gun
one day before his daughter disappeared.
A relative told First Coast News Cummings accused the other man of stealing a gun. The relative could not remember the name of the man or where the fight happened.
The relative said the man disappeared the next day and the gun was found in a ditch.

IIRC, Misty said she found the gun in a culvert at her brother's house through some type of an amazing "OMG there it was" revelation.
My point is this, why would anyone "steal" a gun only to hide it in a culvert at a relative's house and leave town?
It would seem that RC was not a happy camper the weekend before Haleigh disappeared with his "true luv" out on a whirlwind romance with WBG. I think it is completely possible that a concerned relative of Misty just might have spanked RC's little hiney and took the gun away from him, particularly if he was making threats towards MC.
I just can't buy into the theory that RC makes the ground shake and grown men quiver when he's around.
That would explain his, *ahem*, "reluctance" to be forthcoming about such an altercation that everyone else said occured.
Cummings also dodged questions about his home life and a possible fight between him and a cousin over a gun the night his daughter disappeared.
