Theories and clues: Specific to when Haleigh went missing (thread 3/24 to 3/26/2010)

The bus driver stated Haleigh was on the bus. Anything after her foot left the last step of that bus has been vague and distorted. THAT is a problem.

I remember reading that after Misty picked up Haleigh from school she did not go back in the direction of the MH. I have often wondered just where did she go after she left the school bus stop if she didn't go back to the MH.

IF the witness had their days correct. MC said RC picked up Haleigh that day, as did TN - but after first saying she (TN) picked her up, IIRC. I don't understand why they can't even get that straight. WHY are simple things like who picked Haleigh up being fabricated?

And it's from here that we don't have a clue on who's telling the truth. I believe some at the bus stop said Misty picked up Haleigh. Rumor or truth? Ronald and Misty say Ronald pick up Haleigh. If it was Misty, then my guess would be that she is headed to GMA's to get Jr and to pick up the laundry. Probably the clothes they wore while visiting her over the weekend. (my thoughts, because that's what I do with the clothes my grandchildren wear while staying with me) I find it hard to believe that Ronald sat home all weekend with his kids. Saturday night, Mr gun toting, drug doing, party boy is just playing Mr. Mom!

There was some discussion in the beginning how there was deer blood in Tommy's vehicle which I believe was in reference to the red truck that was sold.

Is deer hunting popular in Florida?

I think there was one witness to MC picking Haleigh up ??? What I'm wondering is if that person/people had their days mixed up. At my sons preschool, there is a little girl who gets dropped off & picked up by mom, dad, aunt and a gma. If you were to ask me who picked her up yesterday, I would have said "her dad. Well, I think". My point is, when there are various people who pick up a child, can a witness say FOR SURE who it was a couple days ago? Heck, the family can't even remember!

This was a Monday, so it would have been several days before and was Misty even available on Friday -- I believe HaLeigh had an unexcused absence on Thursday.

Besides wasn't there more -- that Misty was talking about bad drugs which would have fit with her 3 day weekend.

If anyone was "confused" about it, more likely it would have been Ron and Misty. TN wasn't even there so who cares what she said.

Haleigh missed school x2 the previous week Thurs and Mon/Tues. Anyone know the reason for that?

Funny you should mention this. I discounted the fact that he may have accidentally shot Haleigh, because I figured the residue would still be detectable oh his hands, for some time after wards. So, I researched and found that gun residue can be removed by something as simple as wiping with a cloth. I was under the impression, that even after washing with soap, traces could still be present.
If Haleigh was shot, I have a feeling that gun was discarded.

That reminds me!...Who watched Haleigh on Thursday when she was home from school? And maybe earlier in the week. I am convinced something was going on for at least 10 days before Haleigh vanished.

Did rc attend work completely the previous week? I thought I read that misty started partying earlier in the week, ala mid-week.. I bet they were fighting for many days during the previous week which makes rc's arms hanging all over misty even more suspicious. They were not on good terms; Haleigh disappears and they are lovey-dovey.???

I think the world knows rc and misty are up to something. At this point in the game, it is obvious rc is protecting himself by protecting misty.

I have been disturbed by TN's recent concerned question to rc while in jail. She says in a muffled tone, "Do you think she'll talk?" Wouldn't it be more convincing and beleivable to say, "Do you think misty will tell LE everything she knows so we can find Haleigh?".

The question that tn asked seemed more like she was worried about misty speaking at all, than she was eager for misty to tell what she knew about that night.

I do agree. I guess the reason I suggested the witness/es may have gotten their days mixed up is because both MC and RC said he picked up Haleigh. I agree about TN, but if you think back over the past year, most all the info has come from her. She seems to know everything about the lives of these people, down to conversations between M & R :whip2:

Nope...because the first reports off the press was rc was not answering her calls.

If he was then why was he so calm when he got home. She was standing on the stoop/porch when he drove up. He said " I asked her why she was still up?" That doesn't make sense to me, IF he was so upset with her for not answering his calls

Another theory I've pondered is, why GMA's came back with the relative? I've never seen this in print, so correct me if I'm wrong. If the relative is a nurse, that tends to reinforce the belief that something happened earlier in the day. What if Haleigh was injured, and GMA brought her over to attend to Haleigh. I've never liked the idea of involving too many people in the cover up, so I'm not really sold on this being a possibility. But, if this did happen, it could be because Ronald didn't think the injuries were that serious. Maybe by the time they arrived, she was already dead. A very good reason for GMA not to enter the house.

Does anybody know if the relative being with GMA has been backed up with any proof? Where does she live? With GMA? In the neighborhood? How far out of the way did GMA go to pick her up?
