Theories and clues: Specific to when Haleigh went missing (thread 3/24 to 3/26/2010)

I think what really struck me odd is that Ron stopped by a Convenient Store to buy peanuts, beer and cigs before he even went home after work that night. If he had tried so many times to call Misty on the phone and she didn't answer then you would think he would hurry home to find out what was going on instead of stopping by the store first. Everything these people do is odd behavior to me.

Yep, and to expand that a little further -- RC was so concerned that he sent family twice to check on them, one of which told RC she wasn't home.

RC stated he owned a 9mm Berreta; a Glock 21 and a semi-assault type rifle. All very worthy and expensive guns. Between his trucks, guns and gold jewelry, he was a stying kind of guy....lol

Lol, I know that's the things I looked for in a man, back when I was looking!

I have read so many different stories about when, Ron went to work that day/night. Some are saying he went in 2 hours early, some say he went in 2 hours late. Some say he was asked to work a couple of hours overtime that night. Who knows which is the truth, if any are?

Yes, that is one of the more frustrating parts of this case. It's one of the most important details, and we have no idea. We do not know what hours he worked, what has been verified as 100%. We don't know what breaks he may have had and if he could have slipped out at all.

I will say Haleigh and Jr must have been really well behaved. I know mine would have ran from table to greet grandma at their ages. Even if they had just left her house 10 minutes before.

Unless he was shackled, he had an opportunity to leave work. Where I worked, we used card keys to go from floor to floor. If we were going to another floor, and there were several of us, one person used the card key, and the rest of us followed through the open door. This would only prove one person was in a certain area. I don't think Ronald's company used anything this sophisticated. He was free to come and go. Obviously, he did not have much supervision, or somebody would have realized he wasn't working, just making phone calls.

jmo - to try to provide outside confirmation of his version of the timeline.

IF Haleigh really got off of that bus at 3:30 p.m. on Monday 2/9/09, and

IF Ron clocked in at werk at whatever time his shift was scheduled to start [I'll grant him some leeway - based on Shoe's account of him arriving 45 minutes early - I'll say his shift had to have started at 5 p.m.]

THEN....

WTH am I talking about? lol - IDK - I don't believe any of the above.

I think something happened to Haleigh over the weekend and that's why there is 5% of the puzzle/timeline yet to be unraveled.

JMO - we need to be tracking the Squires family's activities that weekend, but I'm 100% certain that LE is already werkin' on this. It's a nightmare because so much of the area in south Putnam County, north Lake County and east Marion County is so extraordinarily rural with Ocala National Forest and Big Lake George right smack in the middle of it.

Where was that WalMart that Ron supposedly demanded a free i-pod because after all, "Don't you know who I am?!" [fwiw, I have no idea if that really happened, just curious.]

It has also been stated he worked in the N-40 that night..Scary place.. Concerned Papa posted an email that described that area and his whereabouts could have easily gone undetected..JMO

So LE "believes" RC never left work that night or do they have concrete PROOF, he never left?

I still have not gotten' the hang of how to post in a forum my #170 post was in reply to LFlorida's post # 168

it made me giggle ;)

IDK what LE has proof of. They have been pretty cagey about addressing Ron's werk hours - for good reason, IMO.

Okay Florida,

help me out here. I usually understand what you post or where you are going with it , but not this time. What are you saying? Do we know she was at school? Do we know she got off the bus? What could have happened that that weekend to make Haleigh disappear that Monday after school?

Plus, Misty says when she saw the back door open, she wondered if Ronald had been home earlier and left the door open. Then, didn't she ask Ronald first thing, "do you have Haleigh?" It seems to me, that in order to even think this, he must have done it in the past. And if he had, this blows his alibi all to smithereens!

" I don't know, Miss Nancy I was at work, . " was his answer for so many questions

And when he should have used it, if true, he was giving information that would only be known someone at the mh all evening.

My favorite though, and it wasn't Nancy, was when he said that he didn't know what Misty told LE 'cause he was werk.

Why would she even think that? Has Ron propped open a door with a brick and taken Haleigh out before in the middle of the night, while she slept? Makes no sense.

Have you ever watched cadaver dogs in action? They take a piece of cloth that has been in contact with a dead person, then zip it up inside a plastic bag, and hide it somewhere. The dog finds it right off the bat. I don't think the dogs hitting on the dumpster is an accident. But, I can't shake the feeling that Ronald would not leave his daughter in a dumpster. I don't think he is the best father in the world, but I do believe he cared/cares for his children. That's another reason I think he wants her to be found. I think he and Misty are framing Tommy, and the body is near his old place.
This thread is for speculation, right?

Maybe I didn't make that clear. I only meant he had left work in the past and snuck home.

The problem with your thinking is......you aren't remembering, that he is psychic Ron! He finds guns in ditches over the phone lines.
