A disgusting series of events but will throw it out there FWIW.

Jacgue Hollander indicates Misty talks about ashes on the tapes Donna Brock has. How does one come up with the idea of ashes.

Cadaver dogs hit on a dumpster during a search for Haleigh
Nothing of consequence was found, or so it is reported.

Jamie Watts handled the account for donations to Ron

Misty and Ron lead Tim Miller to a red rose - nothing was found. Obviously Misty and Ron for some strange reason knew about the rose - odd yes ?

Many criminals assume no body, no prosecution.

Hey Raisin, glad to see you up here!

Are you thinking that Haleigh had been burned or cremated. Maybe the rose was to mark the spot where her ashes were dumped? Wasn't there a fire the night Haleigh went missing?

I don't even want to think about it to be honest.

But I have to say, that discussion has haunted me. Wish I had never even heard it.

With this cast of characters and their dirty deeds, unfortunately, just about anything is on the table IMO.

I hate to say it, but I really think you are onto something!

OMG--they also have a pet crematorium out there. And of course it also ties in to San Mateo area like the drug supplier, Nay's car being stuck, the so called bogus search, not to mention the Haleigh fund connection. I really need to think about this one. Interesting, Charlie

Per/myflorida.com, there is a tax lien (1/25/2010) by the IRS against the funeral home as well.
(If the link doesn't open directly to the records, type in the name of the funeral home in the business search section)

i don't claim to know what really happened, like everyone else i'm just trying to work the puzzle.. I do feel certain that he is the one responsible for whatever it is that did happen though..
Let me add, i do believe he and his family from the beginning deliberately set out to mislead le in this investigation.jmo

It was a houseboat fire, wasn't it?

Oh man Charlie, that is a sickening thought. :(

I wanted to add another piece to my theory I have been thinking about. As I stated before, I believe that Haleigh OD'd and that everything has been a cover up. Now I believe that before they called 911 the pills were flushed down the toilet. If I remember correctly, early on Ron had stated that if he had a certain amount of money he could get Haleigh back (I can't remember how much it was). I think that was the money to pay the "real Drug dealer" back for the product Ron and Misty had flushed down the toilet that night, and for that I beleive is why Misty and Ron had to go all around town to get the rather small amount of pills, because they could no longer be trusted.

That's interesting and pretty disturbing.

Those weren't only prostheses but human bone fragments and presumably w/e else wouldn't burn :/ Dumping charges linked (in St John's River) were from 2002. It doesn't show photo but PCSO lists more recent charge for a JW in 2008, namely CONSERVATION-ENVIRONMENT LITTER OVER 500 LBS COMMRCAL HAZARDOUS, wonder is this same JW :waitasec: http://public.pcso.us/jail/history.aspx

I have an ex-son-in-law who owned a funeral home. He sold it and made many trips to Florida. He always had a lot of money and we wondered if he was a drug dealer. I've even gone so far as to wonder if drugs can be shipped inside a human cadavar. Funny you should bring up Ron's friend from the funeral home because in the beginning of this case my EX soninlaw was the first thing I thought of.

I wonder why LE wasn't more interested in the spot where the plastic rose was found. Do they know something we don't?

My opinion and conjecture only

ITA! IMO, Ron and Misty has been doing this for a long time now. I always believed that Misty was running drugs for Ron and I believe that she was doing just that the day Haleigh disappeared. Maybe that's what the A/C man was there for and Misty had to call Ron like in her other transactions. Just a thought.

Oh, Charlie. I remember way back when we thought of this. When I heard ashes, I cringed. And you are right........I don't want to think about it.

OMG...we have another shady funeral home....reminescent of the Anthony case..*THUMP!*

They obviously don't mind disposing of things illegally.

Alright Charlie, I've been entertaining this theory since last night when I saw it posted. In the beginning I suppose my mind couldn't entertain this theory because I thought the whole thing was some kind of big hoax.

After time it's come clear it's not a hoax and may well be true Haleigh is no longer with us here. It does raise questions which I feel need explored.

Good question, why did the funeral home open the account?

I know these things can be difficult to think of but it can go further.

We had a loved one cremated (their wishes) in Starke County, next door to puntnam. I think this applies statewide but after we chose a funeral home two things remained before cremation.

1. The price! In this case the funeral home we chose was not where he was cremated but he was sent to a place that could cremate and his ashes were sent back. His ashes were spread in the ocean per his request.

2. They had to have a death certificate and we had to wait on Doctors to get it filled out, signed and filed with the county so we could get the approximate 8 original copies we apparently needed. (I think it's law)

So my questions in the beginning start with IF

1. The Funeral home did, what was the price? Up pops the account setup by them. Were any monies paid or taken from that fund to pay for expenses or in disquise?

2. Do they have their own cremation equipment? Could they have possibly done this without a death certificate, which I believe would go against Fla law. Although I don't have the law stating so.

I'm trying to say the funeral home insisted on being paid first before the attorneys got busy.

They obviously don't mind disposing of things illegally.

Sure, why not? They never got prosecuted the first time they were caught after all the work done to investigate that was reported in the article you posted the link to. :banghead:
