ToC stated on the jail tapes that Misty often called him to get roxies, roxies were among the pills when he got busted slumped over the steering wheel at the bus stop, and roxies were the pills that were involved in his recent charges. I noticed that because most of the others were charged with Oxycodone, except Tommy. It is pretty clear to me he knew where to get the roxies. What Law Enforcement needs to do is find out who is supplying ToC, and get them off the streets, whoever it is has been doing it for well over a year in my opinion.
That should be a no brainer for LE since Misty and her band of bungleros drove the UC right to their homes, and they know the owner of the black truck that made the delivery to Tommy. Of course, they probably all booked the moment news got out about the bust.
I know one thing, Misty is sure not what or who everyone claimed she was and I talked myself out of a theory that involved Haleigh waking up and going off to look for Misty that night because everyone seemed to make her into an angel who loved children. I wouldn't be surprised if my original thoughts were true and Misty went to get some more Roxies from dear ol brother and Haleigh woke up and couldn't find her. Misty might very well have done this plenty of times in the past. I wonder if Law Enforcement found a pile of cigarette butts out the back door of that trailer?
But Tommy admitted going to the MH that night, Elle, and LE seems satisfied with that answer. No need to leave if he was her source.

I'm curious about the cigarette butt comment. What's the implication?

Hmmmm.....Cigarette butts / roaches..........not just outside the back door, but any inside the MH? Outside by the front door? In the driveway? Around the perimeter of the MH?

Way back at the very beginning of the saga, I recall people talking about tommy paying a visit to Jerome. Does Jerome play into this? He is also incarcerated NOW in Putnam County jail brought back the same day as the bust of the fab 5.. They say for a court appearance...

I think so. He was also brought in for questioning in September when Tommy was in jail. Misty and NayNay, too. I still say Misty blabbed something about Ron to her friends during the party weekend which sparked the events of February 9th.

A pile of butts out the back door only prove that someone stood in that area and threw them in a particular spot. But frankly, why wouldn't they sit out on their front porch, screen enclosed but still "outside" and smoke, rather than standing on the rather steep ramp and keeping the house door open?

Again, it doesn't make sense, these people dedicated to making life easy for themselves. The back door is NOT convenient.

I can see the back (side) door being convenient if you were washing clothes and just wanted to sit at the door and smoke, waiting for a load to be washed so that you could put them into the dryer. And obviously it is more convenient to take things like pots or a lifeless child out of the house to load into a van or truck without the neighbors seeing. I'm thinking that the neighbors would have a better view of the front door.

"I'm ashamed to say, Ms Nancy, that there are clothes and stuff all over the floor all the time...." TN, MH walk-through with Marlaina Schiavo.

I doubt there was any urgent need to smoke while doing laundry. And the covered, screened porch is still much more convenient for loading/unloading things you don't want the neighbors to see, since that back door and ramp are in clear view of the neighbor's house, while the front screened, covered porch looks to the road.

The implication is that finding cigg butts out in back of that trailer anywhere would further enforce the statement that Misty is a liar, also that the back door was indeed "used" for more than vacuuming the cars or taking out the garbage. There was a pile of cinder blocks back there too, that mysteriously no-one seemed to remember being there before.. I just don't believe it.

As far as Law Enforcement being "satisfied" with ToC. I don't believe that for one minute. These people are all intertwined with one another on that night. It is not a coincidence that Chelsea said the van was moved. In my opinion it is not a coincidence that Tommy went over and knocked on the door at around 10pm and said Misty wasn't home. I just can't buy into all that. Do Misty and Tommy know where Haleigh is or all the facts about what happened to her? Perhaps not, but they all sure do seem to know the bits and pieces of it, but fall just short of implicating themselves in her disappearance. In my opinion that is how it was meant to be all along.

Gotcha. The way you grouped the statement about the butts with the statement about Misty going for drugs made me wonder if you meant something else.

Neither do I. As I've said before, from all we've seen of Ronald, particularly the jailhouse tapes, I get the impression he's pretty observant, not to mention alert. I doubt the pile of cinder blocks would've escaped his notice.

My reply was in response to your allegation that Misty left the children at the MH while she went to get drugs from Tommy. I said LE was satisfied with Tommy's answer, that he did in fact go to the MH that night. Now you state it yourself in the sentence I've bolded, so I guess you've changed your opinion.

I'm in agreement with you on the remaining comments.

FYI:

(#1)
"Front door. I went out the front door. I never went out the back door," Croslin says.

Misty Croslin now tells us she did go out on the front porch to smoke a cigarette the night 5-year old Haleigh disappeared.

(#2)
“The information I am referring to is a tip that investigators received from a local resident who came forward and told them that Misty Croslin, the 17-year-old girlfriend of Haleigh's father, 24-year-old Ronald Cummings, was not at home the night Haleigh disappeared. It has further been alleged that the night Haleigh was abducted was not the first time Croslin had sneaked out while Cummings was at work and his kids were sleeping. There are further allegations regarding her activities at that time; however that information has not officially been released.”

Detectives believe that one tip may come from the Misty, who was then Ronald's girlfriend. Misty was watching the girl that day. She told detectives she left Haleigh alone for just a few minutes inside the home. Haleigh then simply vanished.

I agree. And Chelsea C said Misty fled home after she and Ronald had a fight on several occasions to put space between them so I believe Misty would have blabbed to her family and friends about Ron too.

ETA: The implications of Misty's smoking habit in MO is she would risk leaving the children unattended to feed her addictions.

I haven't changed my opinion on anything, I will leave it at that.

For some reason, rc wanted to distance himself from the cinder block pile also...as he claims he doesn't know anything about them..he has never, ever seen them before, but then backtracks as only rc and tn can, and states, "IF I did see them, that one wasn't the one I saw". More crazy talk from ron cummings.

Aha...now your getting on the track I have been with Jerome.

Yes, but "according to Misty........ (who believes what she says) And even though it wouldn't supprise me, I would still have to question everything she says. Why? Because she is Misty.

Hello 4Jacy, I agree Misty is a liar but I believe in this matter, she is telling the truth about Ron's relatives taking prescribed medication. I don’t know if all of Ron’s relatives do but because TN was involved in a car accident and has chronic back problems, I believe she would be taking a prescribed medication daily; and by looking at Annette, I suspect she has several chronic health conditions (heart problems caused by obesity), which require her to use prescribed medication on a daily basis. Generally speaking, it is highly unusual for elderly persons to not be taking prescribed medication on a daily basis and the poster asked if I thought Annette had prescribed meds and because of her age and the fact that she is obviously suffering from several health condtions, yes, I believe she takes prescribed mediction which she keeps in her home. Don't know about GGranny, but you can bet your bippys that the rest of the family, including all her children and spouses are into some sort of substance abuse from alcohol to drugs.

I can't even remember his last name..
He was tied in with Nay and Amber..as a dealer and/or pimp. misty had to know him and may have introduced him to tommy.

AFAIK, tommy was mainly into pot prior to misty and ron.

What could have happened? I've thought about a few things.
1. Did Haleigh take pills thinking it was candy?
2. Did Ronald and Misty have a fight and Haleigh step between them?
3. Did Misty leave the home and someone took Haleigh?

Praying she comes home.

I would like to know how ron behaves when he is drunk and when he is high. Crystal and Amber could be a big help with that. He likes the white stuff also, correct?

Knowing the personalities of the suspects would help alot on getting an idea of what happened to Haleigh.

Ron leans towards paranoia, so knowing his behavior high or drunk would be paramount.

He was the one on the recently released Cobra tapes. He busts in on Cobra and they have a loud conversation so to speak. In the tapes, Jerome doesn't seem to know what Misty looks like or who she is.
