Theories on what happened to Haleigh

You sweet talker-:blowkiss:
Hoax Abduction-
I can only say it is a feeling I have had from the beginning . It has nothing to do with who they are, where or how they live. It has to do with their words and actions. And most importantly, the timing.

From the beginning, I found Ronald to be less than convincing in his histrionics and abusive words towards Misty during the 911 call and when the police arrived. He began his 911 call with his alibi, "I just got home from work," and tried to steer the investigation to "someone broke into my house and stole my daughter."
Misty's first words to 911 were her alibi. "I just woke up." Then she steered the investigation. "The door is wide open."

Also, I have never seen a man do an interview on his knees. Too much.
His stories and hers have never matched from one day to the next, except for his alibi. "I was at work."
Hers- "I just woke up."

I think they sent Haleigh up north with cousin Joe and he was supposed to keep her under wraps while they raked in donations. Cousin Joe screwed up and took Haleigh out for dinner. Now all anyone can say is "drop her off somewhere."

This abduction came on the eve of the Caylee memorial. One can look at the Anthony's and see they were living pretty well after their granddaughter was "missing." Tonight, I noticed two separate donations set up for the family of Haleigh. One for Ronald and another for the maternal side??

I could type so much more, but it is late.

how would they get past Haleigh knowing it was someone she knew that took her....when they got her back?

I think the connection to the Caylee case should not be completely ignored.

Someone realized that a missing child = fame/money.

Either a criminal/Sex Offender who wanted fame (Many murders have turned themselves in after the media failed to report their murders out of dispointment) or the family wanted money.

That is what I thought from the beginning and it is still a thought in the back of my mind.

The first theory could be plausible if there was a child sex offender that maybe fantasized about stealing Caylee - after all, she was on the news 24/7. Before the memorial, the media was pretty quiet on the Caylee front. Maybe the SO got distressed and decided to make the fantasy a reality and took a different girl that was closer by.

Now it's all over the news and the SO's ego is fed by all this coverage and drama.

Now onto theory #2. The family did it to profit. The more I see the dad and Misty the less I think this is true. Let's just say the intelligence level isn't there. The type of people that are in gangs (mistys cousins) are not good at keeping things on the "down low" (my opinion.) They are constantly trying to one-up each other.

JMO!

I have two theories.
Ron fought with Misty's cousin over gun and Haleigh was accidently shot.
Or Ron abused Haleigh and she died.
I thought Ron was over dramatic for cameras. I do believe he is upset that Haleigh may be dead but may have a part in it.
I believe what ever happened may have happened before he went to work. He had to go to work for a alibi.
I hope either theory is wrong. I feel bad even suspecting the father after what Mark Lunsford went through even though I didn't suspect Mark.

Haleigh was alive around 7 eating outside with rj. She could not have got shot as now it's been report it was two weeks before over the gun

Thank you Indiana 4 sharing that!
Who was last person outside of family that had shown her alive?

Great Grandma seen her and Rj eating on porch at 7 pm. She stopped by to drop some stuff off for the kids. Someone else (family) was there around 5:30

Since I do believe Ron is responsible for Haleigh's disappearance, I'm interested in all theories that point to him. I like your theory. It seems like you are tuned in to how his mind works (a scary place, I know).

I, too, do not believe Ron worked the hours he said he did. IMO, he either started later, came home early, or left work mid-shift. You're right. Until LE spills the beans about the working schedule, we won't know.

I like your theory about why Ron and Misty would still be chummy. That is clever. That would also explain why he said to Misty during the 911 call, "How could you $#@* lose my daughter?"

My only problem is that I have felt for a while that Misty is in on this because of her lack of concern that the child is missing. All I see is fake tears and pretense. She is lying, so I have a problem with her being innocent. I still think Ron is the one who comitted the act, but I was thinking Misty was player #2.

Reading your theory, I would like to see Misty interviewed again once/if she can admit to not being in the house at some point during the night. I would like to see if I still detect the the deceit that was so obvious from the start.

I believe you are on to something here. Good job. Oh, and btw, did I read that Ron was working for a family member? I'll check that out. You know how you can get away with more impromtu comings and goings if you're related to the boss. But since I do not have the facts on that, I'll not say any more about it.

I wish I didn't believe Ron and Misty had something to do with the disappearance, but I do. Something is wrong about their story, especially Misty's.

I think Haleigh's family knows nothing and has done nothing. Misty, on the otherhand is either directly involved in Haleigh's disappearance by at the least neglect, allowing her to be taken by a predator, or actually being involved herself in Haleigh's disappearance. Misty continues to defend herself in that she was home, then throws in that her sex offender cousin was there that night. Why wouldn't she tell police that from the beginning? Unless it's not true or she was scared Ron would be mad at her. She finds the pink shirt in the dirty laundry when she went in the trailer with police and then says on the interview why would she give them the shirt or tell them about it if she was involved. Everything Misty does is an act of self preservation it seems. You'd think she'd be more concerned about them finding that precious 5 year old than saving herself.

Misty has told them from the start about the cousin, Somebody choose not to look into til now!!!

Do you have a link for that, is it a fact or a rumor? We've heard no mention of her cousin in the very beginning. She said nothing about him in interviews until recently.

I will look for it so many pages to go threw I'll be back

There is a link somewhere to Misty "saying" she told them from the beginning....but Misty also says she passed the polygraph....I don't believe a word she says. JMO

I'm in agreement, Misty "saying", her words keeps changing since the beginning of this case..

I know the g-gma says she saw them eating on the front porch around 7 p.m., but I wonder if she could be mistaken on the time. The mean temperate on February 9 for Satsuma according to wunderground.com was 52 degrees with a max temp of 64 and a low of 41. Sunset was at 6:09. Although there was a full moon that night, it would seem they would have been out there after dark in very cool temperatures to eat dinner. February evenings in FL aren't picnic weather.

I am leaning towards Misty either "passed out" or not home. She may have left the back door unlocked after going out earlier in the day and when she woke she remembered the door before Ron got home, so she goes to check and see the light on and the door open. If the door was unlocked and someone came by and knock on the door, Haleigh may have gotten up to answer it. That person may taken her. Misty could have panicked and staged it to back up her story because she is afraid of Ron. If she was out the same theory could apply. She came home just before Ron and found the light on and the door open. She may have been so scared of him she is holding back on the truth. The shirt is one more thing that doesn't make sense, who takes time to get the cloths off a kid before taking them and being neat enough to put the shirt in the dirty laundry? Who turns on a Light? The door isn't forced or the wood isn't broken from the dead bolt being forced open, no she is holding back and I think Haleigh opened the door. JMHO

The theory I see as most logical is that MC partied to the point of not knowing what really happened.

I am not sure who or why but I fear that poor Haleigh is in the St John's river. I know that have searched that area some but that is a very wide river and has flow to it. Her poor tiny body would had easily been carried way upstream by now.

As for the sighting in TN at Carrabba's, no way! Carrabba's is a rather expensive restaurant with attentive servers and few children. Why would someone take a kidnapped child to a place like that instead of fast food joint place or a drive through?

.

And
Carrabas is owned by a big corporation with standard operating procedures for every restaurant; they would have security cameras that actually work all over the place.

Until I went off on my Chad Reynolds tangent last weekend, I felt certain that Haleigh was in the St. Johns, too, and thought that it might have been a result of her "running away" or having a stand-off after a flare-up between her and Misty, who was trying to wait her out. Dunno.

The great-grandmother's recollection of seeing Haleigh at 7 p.m. on the front steps has kind of thrown off my suspicions that maybe Haleigh wandered off during the daytime, after Ron left for work.

There are lots of vacation homes along the St. Johns that may lay vacant. No telling how many vacant residences there are in the area due to foreclosures.

Ackkk... needle in a haystack in any case.

I agree she is probably in the river or a canal. Rivers have currents that carry items and bodies for miles and then they are discovered when they get caught up in the tree roots. I feel like that is where she will be found.

Excellent point! And it goes right along with my impression that suddenly...GGM came out and said she was there. Remember they only started telling that when LE recieved the tip that Misty was not at home. It felt hinky and it still does.
