Theories on what happened to Haleigh

R has been my top suspect for a while. He has a temper and could have flown off the handle accidently killing Haleigh. If M was present she could have been responsible for cleanup when R went to work. Therefore, she could have had control over him and have said "marry me or I will tell what I know" He didnt look to happy leaving the courthouse the day they went for the license in my opinion

He does appear angry, a proverbial "powderkeg." And while I can not look on another person's heart, I can tell you from firsthand experience there are those more interested in appearing righteous than in becoming righthearted... who, when faced w life transforming opportunities, rather than be "broken" choose only to toughen themselves more... and that my own personal reaction to this man has been one of mistrust and uneasiness, and not necessarily because I'm convinced he's directly involved, but because of the violence capability and viciousness I've come to associate w this level of arrogance and pride... and in particular w the sneering of which we've thus far caught only glimpses... I'm not saying he has any direct involvement,
I just don't care for the spirit on this man. JMO

How about some theories on where each possible suspect would have hidden Haleigh?

That is the $24 Million Question here, imo. I also think it is what is holding up law enforcement.

Ron is my suspect, has been early on. My theory is that he dumped the body in a pond/lake near the home on his way to/from work or at his place of employment. I would bet there are a gazillion places to hide a body in a place that makes parts for bridges. I do not know when or how he did it, and I don't care what he says about being at work, I just feel in my gut he did and I hope to heck LE has checked out the place he works. People keep saying things like LE would have done this and that, but after poor Caylee sat in the dumping ground because some officer poo poo'ed the idea that she could be there, well, anything is possible. This is my opinion.

I vacillate between theories.

It seems such an unexpected and extraordinary development in a missing child case that the influence of extraterrestrials cannot be discounted off the bat.

Snip. Just to clarify that my post appears to have been moved or else I posted it in the wrong place. Those were theories to the other thread about why did they get married. Although I suppose ET's might have technology to break in the house without leaving traces and abduct people from their beds without disturbing anybody else. But why would they need a cinderblock.

I just posted on the MC thread about the video. They both know what happened to her.

I still feel this is staged to look like a child abduction. A set up for the cousin. I used to think Misty wasn't home, now I am wondering if Haleigh did in fact have an accident, maybe ingested drugs by mistake and she died. If the drugs were in the home and they were Ron's and Misty's they would be both guilty and Ron would lose JR. I am wondering now, if Ron was at work, Misty was out and Haleigh died of an overdose while no one was home. She may have been in the kitchen, looking for Misty or hungry and got into something laced. Misty may have called Ron and he said you can't call the police, here's what you do. He is clearly angry with her on that 911 tape, and in the interview with LE. Now he is married to her??? No, they both are on my radar now. Go back and look at that Video, Misty is asking Ron, what time she went to bed, like "it was what time?, It's about 10 O'clock. That is at 6:32 into the tape. Why would she ask him, all he ever says is I was at work. Look at his body language, the leg shaking and the arms crossed and the anger on his face. And he looked away from the camera when he says" Baby I love ya" in his plea to again on camera.

3:00-3:15 - Ron calls mom and asks her to pick up Haleigh at bus stop as he cannot locate Misty and the A/C man is coming....
3:20ish - Haleigh gets off bus, picked up by grandmother
3:25ish - TN takes Haleigh home to Ron
3:25-4:00 - Ron, Haleigh, & JR at home waiting for Misty. Ron is angry, upset - maybe overreacts in disciplining Haleigh, Haleigh is injured.
4:00 - Misty shows up, maybe her brother brings her over to drop her off and sticks around a bit?
4-5 - A/C man comes and fixes air, brother & nephews there
5 - 7 - Haleigh, JR, and Misty now home alone - Haleigh not feeling well, maybe she tells Misty daddy hit her and there is physical evidence of a beating, or hit her hard and her head hit into something hard??
7:00 - GGM stops in to check on Haleigh, maybe Ron called her because Misty called him about Haleigh's injuries? or maybe Misty only called GGM?? They decide "She'll be fine" will take her to Dr. tomorrow???
8:00 - Misty is washing blankets that have vomit or urine on them, tucks Haleigh and JR in covering Haleigh with sheet. (this is where her voice cracks in early interview - I think its the last time she sees her alive).
10:00 - Misty brings in fresh blankets to cover Haleigh, Haleigh is unresponsive- blue - cold, there is nothing could be done at this point.
10:00 - 3:00 - Plans and implements the fake abduction story, either with or without assistance from GGM or Ron.
3:25ish - Ron arrives home and Misty calls 911

Ron either already knew what happened or is told in the first few days.
Ron marries Misty because of her loyalty and to keep her loyal.

That's a tragically simple theory, Kikid and has every possibility of being close to the truth.

Can someone help me out? For the life of me I cannot figure out why if Misty or Ron staged this abduction, why would either of them put a cinderblock up to the door to prop it open? Thats just bothers me. I would think that maybe an intruder wouldn't want the door to slam as he went in or out. But why if someone was staging this would they think to do that? If it was staged wouldn't they just break a window or pick a lock, or wouldn't they just say the door was unlocked?

Putting a brick by a slamming door doesn't have any costs for repairs attached to it. Break a window, you're looking at maybe $100. Pick a lock, then you have to pay to have all the locks changed. Leave the door unlocked and suddenly you have to answer questions about how you left your children vulnerable and could face having them taken away because you didn't provide a safe home for them. A brick is pretty cost efficient, turns out.

The door is the pivotal part of Misty's story. She says she noticed the door was "wide open" and this is how she knows somebody abducted Haleigh. Neither door stays open on its own, so that would require propping.

Breaking a window or picking a lock could potentially leave a lot of evidence. Maybe the simpler the staging--the better?

This brick also helps point the finger at the cousin as it was his MO. We know they had a fight and Misty claims he messed with her, so this helps the story of a kidnapping. I think Haleigh may have even gotten into a place where there may have been drugs in the house and ate some, or ate some pills, thinking they were m&ms. If that happened they risk losing JR.

Does anyone know if the A/C repairman used the cinder block for entering in and out the trailor with tools checking and working on the A/C and just did not put it back where he got it from.

there is a property owner named Larry S M Sr who owns

115, 119 & 131 Buchanan (just behind Haleigh's home) ---- he also co-owns other properties with G M K, and with R E M. Incidentally lot 131 is a vancant lot at the circle of Buchanan closest to the river that actually has a dock there.

http://www.putnam-fl.com/patc.inq/pa/cpa2.pl?id=60800

I'm not certain it's his son but there is a L S M, JR - birthdate 7/21/68 - Florida driver's license shows Hollister, FL - who has a lengthy criminal record both in Florida and South Carolina - that includes KIDNAPPING, ASSAULT, DRUGS, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, etc. Some of the charges were abandoned. However, I also found an online article from 2007 where he is on a Most Wanted List in Lexington County South Carolina for criminal domestic violence "of a high & aggravated nature." He's described as 5'9", 175#, blond hair/blue eyes. He has a Florida record in Clay County and Putnam County.

Too coincidental imo...
(I have already sent this tip to police)

Please forgive me if this has been explored-

Misty keeps coming back to the blanket, and I have been pondering the possibility that Haleigh died that night-possibly from a complication from the Turner's syndrome. Those with TS are predisposed to kidney infections and UTI's, but a small percentage can also suffer from heart ailments-big ones that are curable...only if diagnosed.

http://turners.nichd.nih.gov/clinical.html

I guess I am trying to imagine the possibility that Haleigh was having trouble with her kidneys or heart-I know that with other genetic metabolic disorders, there is something called "metabolic crisis." It can mimic Reyes Syndrome, but if a child with this disorder has a bout of illness, it can set off a metabolic crisis that shuts down the kidneys and causes the brain to swell, ending in death. The key is a high level of ammonia in the blood and urine, and LFT tests are abnormal.

I am wondering if there has been some work done on the blankets to see if there is anything showing in Haleigh's urine. And I guess then I am wondering what if Misty simply found Haleigh dead? What would she have done?

Farfetched, I know....but I was thinkin.

the only way I can see her not calling 911 if Haleigh was sick or dead is if either she or Ron had done something that led to that sickness or death. Otherwise, why not just call 911 or rush her to the ER?

Since the blanket had been washed would that detoriate any testing? Misty mentions the blankets way to much, first I am wondering how the original blanket on her bed was left in the van, then I am beginning to think she put the blanket (s) in the wash and left, when she came back she got the blanket out of the dryer and was going to cover Haleigh but found her missing.

I think there is woods behind the Cummings trailer and i read that thru the woods that were Misty family live.. and Player had stated that ron trailer is directly behind Player home.

ok going back to the theory that this was a SO.... (not that I necessarily believe that, but just looking at all angles)

- Ron & kids (no Misty at that time) lived on Buchanan until Nov. If anyone has that exact address, I'd appreciate it. To my understanding this was a small one or two bedroom trailer. Someone reported Ron to CPS about sleeping arrangements & perhaps other things and he had to move into a three bedroom to accommodate separate bedrooms.
- I'm considering the possibility it was someone who lived on Buchanan and was familiar with the kids & Ron, but not a friend. Just a neighbor. And I'm theorizing that it was this neighbor who turned Ron in because they knew it was a one bedroom trailer.. so that Haleigh wouldn't be sleeping with Dad at night. If the person who turned Ron in to CPS called anonymously with a tip, perhaps there was a doorbell in the background of that recorded call???
- also, about the night Haleigh went missing. What if after Misty fell asleep Haleigh wet to bed. She gets up and turns on the light in the kitchen, finds clean clothes, hides wet clothes in dirty clothes, then lays down on the dry sofa instead of returning to her bed? And this person who has been watching and waiting for an opportunity can see in the living room window and sees her alone in living room because the light is on?

[end snip]

this pic shows the trail followed by the dogs the morning LE arrived at scene:
picture.php

this pic shows the Cummings address & neighborhood: Notice how Tyler extends between Buchanan & Green, either it is a private drive or it is a gravel road.

Now I had always assumed someone would have had to have been carrying her or making her walk all that way in the dark. But, if we follow the dogs trail we see that first she was taken to the dock (where she could have been gagged & tied) then to that shed near the water. Then the trail leads through the woods on Tyler (gravel drive or road) out of the woods.

so if in fact this was an acquaintance of the family, someone who lived on Buchanan, someone who had a familiarity with Haleigh because they had talked to them or seen them daily when she lived on Buchanan then she may not have screamed.

they would have taken her because the opportunity presented itself on that night... taken her to that shed, left her for a short time to run and get their vehicle, drive it down the dirt/gravel road, loaded her into the trunk and was gone....

yes and I recall how Player stated how much he/she loved watching the kids play. Maybe there was another neighbor nearby who also like watching Haleigh?? but for different reasons of course?
