ShowMe, I spend 6 mo. 30 miles south of Tallahassee, on the gulf. They are sure they are sometimes having terrible winters, but I bite my tongue. One time the pipes did freeze though. I love this god forsaken area, Tis just my speed.
I wish you could be a snowbird too.

Hi neighbor!
Today we drove beautiful 98 coming home from a wedding weekend in Appalach. I love the" Forgotten Coast". Our beach house is on the opposite side of St Joe from your place; I am there about a week of each month, year-round. It's ok with me for people to fear bad little bugs in the water. We don't need any more people there! My favorite days are when hardly no one walks down my beach... maybe a jogger & a couple dog-walkers.
By the way folks, bears are the real menace around the little beach towns. If I can find it, I'll post a pic of a bear sign with the beautiful blue gulf in the background.
Oh, so now I am all jealous again about you being on 98 today. That stretch from Panacea to Appalach. is breath taking. My favorite gumbo is at Caroline's and we like Papa Jo too, oppppps - love Papa Jo.Hi neighbor!

Am jealous that you got to know the "real" Keys. More than 20 years ago we vacationed there, watched sunsets at Hmmmmmmm, was it called Mallory Square ?
