I am going to post this here, as I am looking for an "alive" theory on this.. Today, I finally read the great grandmother's interview, and she mentioned that about 3 times she received an answering machine message and it was of a little girl babbling, but wasn't making any sense.. I think maybe a 4th time she answered, and it was the same thing, a little girl babbling, and at that point thought that it was a recording... She did say that she COULDNT BE FOR SURE that it was Caylee, but definatly that it was a little girl.. Does anyone here have any alive related theories on this? I found this very interesting.. It's not like this lady was getting prank calls, she was 80 something years old!

Hoping we keep this thread active tonight like we did the other night!

Let's all pray and pray for Caylee tonight.. Let's bring her home!!

Do you remember when CA said that the great grandmother received a call from Caylee and someone asked her how Caylee or the "kidnapper" would have the great grandmother's phone number, CA said something to the effect (paraphrasing) - "because it was programmed into Casey's phone..."

So when I read the great grandmother's statement, I immediately thought that this was what CA was talking about then. Does KC still have another cell phone floating around out there? Was the cellphone that she lost actually lost or was it given to the person who has/had Caylee? It almost seemed like CA let some info slip when she said that. My first thought was how my husband's phone automatically redials the last number on accident sometimes because the phone is so sensitive and it doesn't have a flip top...when this happens all you can hear are muffled conversations and background noise. It sounds like a recording but it isn't.

If I had a second cell phone I would probably have all my family numbers programmed into both. I really don't think Casey lost a second cell phone though. I imagine her grandmother was probably receiving crank calls.

But I would be interested in seeing a ping thread for the "alive" theories. Sort of like a timeline/ping time thing might help.

My phone has done that too.. Last Halloween, my husband wanted me to stop by my in-laws house to show off my daughter's costume.. I didn't have much time to drive all the way to my in-laws that night, so I really didn't want to go (I ended up going!).. Anyways, when I got there later that night, they said there phone rang from my cell phone, and all they heard was me and the people I was with talking.. For the record, when they told me that my phone called the, I kind of panicked because I knew that at some point in the night I was complaining about them (lol).. They never said anything, so I guess it wasn't at that point.. I hated that phone!

Interesting theory by the way..

I do believe that Casey had the Blackjack, and that phone is intentionally gone.

I am believing only things officially released by LE and the chloroform is one that (I believe) was only reported by the media and not confirmed by LE.

Did anyone catch the NG show where the specialist was talking about DNA and said they use chloroform as part of the DNA testing process? Sorry, I don't have the link, but it was 1-2 weeks ago. Perhaps the chloroform was only a by-product of their testing?

yes, not only that, there was a person with a chemistry background here on the board once who was saying that he/she thinks it's possible that chloroform in a trunk (whether as a byproduct from cleaning products, or chloroform that was there in drugs or for the purpose of drug use, or chloroform that results from breakdown of antibacterial products, etc) could even conceivably have caused a false positive for decomp (in the air test). They weren't positive if this was possible yet but thought this might be a possibility. I'd like to see more about that.

For all of these reasons, and of course because we haven't seen the evidence LE supposedly has and no detail about it provided officially yet and won't be until there is a case, I remain hopeful that there wasn't actually any deceased body in that trunk, much less Caylee's.

I also do not support Casey. I do support her constitutional right to bail and to proper representation. I support Caylee. When the whole story comes out, I will make my judgements on Casey. For now, Caylee is my concern.

I find it interesting that there are other ways that death band could have gotten on the hair than besides being from a dead body. I also found the chloroform piece(as possibly being used in the forensics. Did I get that right?)

Lots to digest.

I will still keep my light of hope on for Caylee. She is too precious to not do that for. :blowkiss:

I agree with what you just said and will also continue to pray for a live Caylee.

I can't find it either. I remember that it was one of her sidewalk interviews with reporters. I am going to keep looking for it though.

Here's the link:

http://www.wftv.com/news/17161366/detail.html

...here is the specific conversation that I remembered.

Cindy said she shared new information with investigators Monday about Casey's phone records that she says shows Casey really did get a call from Caylee on July 15 from a "private number." She's even claiming that Caylee's great grandmother heard from Caylee during the time she's been missing.

"We had a long conversation about that today. Some of the stuff that got leaked out is erroneous and they're looking at some of those things today," Cindy said.

"How did the person who had Caylee get your mother's phone number?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked.

"She was programmed into my daughter's phone," Cindy said.

Casey not trusting local LE is very troubling when put into context. We know of at least two ex-LE bf's, maybe three. We have also heard that at least two more came forward to admit they had had "relations" with Casey. What was she doing with her time? Why did she need a "nanny" at all, since she didn't have a job 'on the books'? Does it involve any or all of these ex-LE?

This is my first time reading this thread. While I'm on the "other side" of the fence, I was curious to see why so many believe the child is still alive, other than optimism. Believe me, I hope I am VERY WRONG on my assumptions. I would be more than thrilled if Caylee would finally be found ALIVE.

Your thoughts on LE leave me to wonder. Shamefully, I'm wondering if she was getting inside secrets on how to get rid of someone by any means. She may have heard stories from her dad and wanted more up-to-date info from the local LEs. Not necessarily how to kill someone, but just how to make them disappear for good. Enough of that.

The NANNY question has always bothered me, too. Since they live with George and Cindy, it would make sense to at least leave the babysitter's contact information with Cindy. They wouldn't have had to meet face to face, but giving Cindy the nanny's name, address, and phone numbers would be the sensible thing to do. Another thing, WHY did she need a nanny everyday? She wasn't working. So if there was a babysitter whom Caylee was staying with, what was Casey doing during those hours? Has anyone come forward to say "I think I saw her shopping", or "I saw her waiting in the concession line at the movie theatre", or "She offered her body to me one afternoon when I ran into her in a bar"? One would think she didn't disappear into thin air during these hours.

ADOPTION. The only type of adoption (or selling of Caylee) that sort of makes sense to me is an illegal one. Any legitimate adoption agency would have come forward to LE and say they placed Caylee. They'd show the legally binding documents and the case would be solved. Even if it was a sealed adoption, I'm sure the people who run the agency or the judge who signed the documents would be obligated to settle the matter. This is, after all, a missing person case. LE would not be obligated to, and probably would be restricted from, revealing who has Caylee, just that she was legally adopted. Missing person case closed.

Even with a legal adoption, you'd expect SOMEBODY to recognize the child and raise questions, total strangers, family members, neighbors. Somebody. Same thing with an illegal adoption, or if Caylee was sold. Somebody somewhere would probably recognize the child. Unless she was shipped off to a foreign country that has very little news outlets (TV, newspapers). Even then, if she were sent to a non-English speaking country, wouldn't the cute little American girl gets lots of attention every time she opened her mouth and spoke English? :waitasec: Or she could be caged somewhere, locked away from the public eye.

Anyway, like I said, I hope all of you are correct and Caylee is still alive and well, and is being treated lovingly and respectfully.

I agree about LP. I'm still trying to figure out why he thought HE could get Casey to talk when no one else could.

This is such a puzzling case. Did I say I came here to see if you guys had any insight to where Caylee could be and if she's alive? That's why I began reading the thread.

snipped.......
.......... Caylee could have been taken to Mexico or Puerto Rico.............

It would be extremely difficult to get Caylee back if she was indeed taken across the border. If she was flown to Texas, or CA, it would be easy to cross to Mexico. She could have fake papers that were shown to the border patrol when they crossed.
(although I dont think a passport is needed to cross into Puerto Rico, is it?)

Illegals have lots of connections and no problem having fake id's made up.

No passport is needed for Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. They're US territories.

If she was dragged off to Cuba, we'll never find her, for sure. Unless El Presidente Raul is watching all the Caylee coverage or reading Websleuths.

What a puzzle this is! Unbelievable! Casey should just lead someone to Caylee.

OK here is another thing I would like to talk about. Sorry I have not been here very much, I am helping my daughter move.

http://www.local6.com/news/17624281/detail.html

according to Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary.

"In your heart, do you believe (Caylee) is gone -- she is dead?" Local 6's Mike Holfeld said.

"Well, my dad-instinct says you never want to give up," Beary said. "But the way the evidence is looking, that's probably what's going to be down the road."

"She's gone?" Holfeld said.

"She's gone," Beary said. "Every day that passes, everything in your gut instinct tells you we're not going to find that child -- at least not alive."

Here you have the sheriff of OC and even he can not say they have evidence that Caylee is dead. They are still looking for a live Caylee. He is going by his heart/gut. If you read the article you will see that they say Casey has a poker face. Well imoo they are playing poker with Casey because she does not trust them with the info that she has. That imoo is why she never wanted to talk to them to begin with. So many people have rushed to judgment on this case. I read a post the other day about a poster's sister just wanting to be on the GJ just to be able to indite Casey. I am so going to hope that nothing every happens to me because of people like her. Again I am so happy that in America you are innocent until proven guilty

I believe there was another phone. There's a picture of Casey WITH a Blackjack on the table by her. You CAN use a Blackjack w/ a prepaid service. You can get an AT&T go phone and take the Sim card out of that phone and place it in a Blackjack and it will work. I did some research online and found that out. I totally believe the Blackjack was on a prepaid plan because there's no way Casey would have been able to get one with her credit and phone problems. Anyone can buy a Go Phone. Who's to say that if she was doing something "under the table" that her "boss" didn't give her the prepaid phone to be available and that phone could be with Caylee right now.

Just a thought. I believe there was a second phone and I think the phone could be with Caylee. The prepaid phone couldn't be tracked back to her either.

Good thought! I know that I've received calls like that from my mom. Her phone sometimes will get jostled around in her purse and itwill call the last number. This could have happened to the grandma...It does seem very odd.

The biggest thing that strikes me about these statements from Beary is this - if they really did have Caylee's DNA in the trunk of that car, they wouldn't need to 'look into the future' and guess what would be coming down the pike, and they wouldn't need "gut instinct" and with positive DNA of Caylee's, there would be no "probably".

It is as though Beary is saying that if all else fails and they don't actually find Caylee, then they'll declare her dead........again........"down the road" Caylee will be dead by default.........again.........
