On the June Case Calendar it says that KC spoke about the smell on June 5th (way before Caylee went missing). Is this a mistake?

It's possible.

Dogs are not infallible, as we know from the Elizabeth Smart case where Search dogs were within a few feet of Elizabeth and failed to alert.

I could discount the alerts on the trunk if it weren't for Cindy's own startling comment about the smell on her 911 call, as well as Lee's statement about the car being intolerable while parked in the garage, as well as Yuri's Bond hearing testimony. That's just too much at this point, to ignore.

But do all of those things make it a positive connection to decomposition?

No, they don't. Forensics should be that backup indicator, but LE doesn't seem to be very confident in that, either.

Well, I'm not sure that I would take one created here as gospel.

It appears to have been put on the wrong date, there is also a comment on the 5th that says the smell story was on the 24th.

I saw that too. It has a question mark next to it so I am trying to figure out the first date that the smell was discussed. I was wondering if the first date was on June 5th and then maybe there were additional dates.

In Lee's interview he is discussing the conversation that Casey and he had the night of the 15th. They are in the garage with the smelly car and he asked Casey when it started smelling and Casey told him that it actually started smelling on Mom's birthday. So Casey is the one that said the 5th, Amy said Casey told her it smelled on the 27th, when it was abandoned at Amscot.

If I am not mistaken, I have not seen this actual text from KC to AL. I do not think that LE has released AL's text messages.

Thank you for that. I read all of Amy's texts that have been released.
AH said in the interview that while she did not see the actual message, AL pulled it up on his phone and read that particular text to her.

Right and that was on 7/16 before she was arrested. AH also said that AL said that they spoke on the phone that day as well.

IIRC, that was in a text to AL, maybe July 15?

I think I remember Casey saying that the car started smelling "around" mom's birthday.

I would be really interested in theories to help find Caylee alive. Why are there so many incorrect dates associated with events here? Not to mention incorrect info? I do not want to start an argument but this is very confusing.

The dates have come from the case calendar here at WS and from statements and texts messages. What info and dates are you confused about?

If I went back to the beginning of the thread I would have a whole bunch. I actually am not confused about any dates, but I have read a lot of things and not just the case calendars.

Well I have been trying to straighten out dates and who said to what when so that I can figure out an exact date for when Caylee went missing. I have been unable to find texts and some statments regarding some of the things that I think is important. I have asked for help from other people so that I can piece my own theory together.

Secreteye posted a theory last night...this thread isn't just for theories by the way. This whole entire case is confusing by the way. There are other confusing threads out there like the ping thread...did you post the same "incorrect info and i am confused" post to that thread?
