I don't think that the people who believe she is passed on even consider that the posters being passed around and continuing to search for a "missing child" may bring more credible leads in either direction.

Anyway, I will probably be most unpopular but here goes: I believe Casey. I believe she handed her off - for reasons all her own - and she got screwed by this person. Yes, all of the circumstantial evidence points to something else - and all the hulabaloo makes for HIGH DRAMA, but I've seen mistakes, prejudices and gossip convict the innocent more than once. So I may not have a theory or evidence, but I have a reason to believe Caylee is alive.

This is certainly possible and thanks for posting it here. It's surprising to me that some people have latched onto the murder theory exclusively with so little proof, no charges even brought, and they get so angry about anyone discussing the other possibilities in this case. I posted early on that I wondered if Casey had had her friends take Caylee to PR or NY, or if anyone in the social circle had taken Caylee without her permission. Or, was it really ZG or KM? Any of these is possible as far as I'm concerned.

I agree 100%. What does it hurt anyone to brainstorm our theories about Caylee being alive. If everyone else is right and she is dead, then what will it hurt. But what it, just what if, she is alive out there...

Here is something I though about. I posted on another thread but I don't think anyone responded. My thinking on this whole thing is - follow what is known - not what has been leaked or what Casey has said that has been untruthful but what is KNOWN.

There is a lot of speculation regarding the car being broke down, out of gas, neither, Casey wanting it to be stolen. We know it wasn't broken down b/c Mr. Anthony drove it home. We don't know if it was out of gas b/c he put gas in the tank before taking it. I don't believe the car was driven after being taken home so do you think LE drained the tank and deduced whether it was out of gas based on the distance to the Anthony's and by how much Mr. Anthony put in the tank?

I know they get Headline News, Nancy Grace, and other English programming in PR (unless it's only in the hotels, I'm not sure), but it's a good idea to ask the Spanish networks for more coverage if they're not covering it much. Good for you all.

My condensed version on my theory is this:

Casey didn't want Cindy to get custody of Caylee
Casey may have handed her off to "Nanny" (possibly paternal grandparents)
Casey tried to reach family when she realized Caylee was being taken on flight to somewhere (flurry of calls) No one bothered to answer her
Casey figured Caylee was "safe" for the most part and further ticked off at Cindy for not answering calls
Abandoned car with belongings inside to scare parents
Doesn't know where Caylee is but feels she's OK

This is just a condensed version of my thoughts and I needed to write them down....

I just want to add that I think the protesters are just wrong and the trash picker..wrong

I pray that I am on the right track and if in a court of law I am wrong than nothing and no one was hurt by my feeling this way...

If in fact JG took a DNA test to see if he was Caylee's father they could get Caylee's DNA from that.

Yes, his they boy's father is a minister and has it on his web site. They believed her that it was his child, until the DNA test. They were sad it wasn't and promises when this is all over to tell the "whole" story about Casey and Caylee as they used to stay with them.

This one particular thread is to support the theory that Caylee is alive.... I'm not sure that is your intention?

I seriously doubt it, but I am open to any evidence to even the slightest chance. So far, I have not read any which leads me to believe it yet, that is why I am reading here.

Even the new story about the "Samantha" in the Ford car. That car would not even hold the car seats which was claimed, so that somewhat discounts that story for me. Most mothers would kill or be killed before they would let someone just take off with their child. None of that one makes sense.

There was a note, but there is no note..........not to mention that totally contradicts the other two stories she told police. So one way or the other she lied to authorities.

All opinions (within TOS ) are welcome. No one has a right to tell someone to "leave" because they do not agree with the popular opinion.

On Websleuths we do not allow posters to accuse other posters of being a person from the case. You will either get immediatly banned for life or a long time out if you do this.

I don't understand why CA/GM stated that Casey stole the car and wanted her charged with that?

Yet they allowed her to leave in that very vehicle on the 16th and the 24th, even after the discovery of the gas cans? Which was reported as a theft and discovered in that trunk the very same day IIRC? This confuses me. Anyone else?

LOL I can completely relate to this because my parents bought my car for me when I was 16. When I was 18 and living my adult life (living at home, no job, full time school, but more hours logged with friends than reading books) I would stay out till 4 in the morning not answering my cell (cuz who wants to be the party pooper right?). Well I was an adult, what could my parents do....threaten to report my car stolen cuz it was in their name not mine. You better bet that got my butt home fast. I am thinking this was just one of the few leverages that G & C had over Casey.
