Thanks to everyone who participated in the radio show. It was great. This is the first time I have listened and I really enjoyed it.

if ICA got 30 years or Agg MS, how long would she actually be in prison?

.

25.5 years less time served.

This assumes there are no consecutive sentences applied against her.

thank Richard for answering questions for us tonight. Your blog has been instrumental in helping me make sense of a lot of the strategy behind the motions and whatnot.

Thanks Tricia, Kimster, ynotdivein

thanks to all our member callers

what I could hear was great. Now how do I fix this feed so I can hear the whole show next week without all the in and out?

  • #346
I would think at least 85% of that time.
...and RH mentioned she would have gotten credit for time served (beyond the time for the check stealing?-my ?)

Hey, All thanks for the compliments re: accent and thanks to RHornsby (if he is reading this).

Just a quick note. The answer that Hornsby gave me just angers me at the mess the DT is making of all this. Hornsby gave a perfect theory and defense just there which would probably convince most jurors to convict ICA of Aggravated Manslaughter. Thanks to this defense she has a good chance of getting convicted of First Degree Murder. They are doing her a disservice. Ironically, a defense team who have managed to increase the possible penalty their client faces.

The one caveat to all this of course is if ICA insisted upon this defense herself. She does seem to have a habit of telling lie after lie to cover up her previous lies.

And to the poster who said I was a lawyer from Scotland. No, I am not yet a lawyer. :)

Anyway thanks all. It's 1:50 AM here so I am off to bed!

Hi UKLaw
Great to hear you on the show tonight
You're right Casey insisted on this defense strategy and IMO Casey believes she will be either Acquitted or this case will end in a Mistrial

I hope RH comes on here tonight- he just has to be told about the Chlorine.
Just when you think JB cannot be more of a doofus than he already is, he comes up with more....
The A's did not use Chlorine, they used Bacquacil!

I remember Cindy saying they used a gentle product or one that is not harsh but I didn't remember what the product was..Thanks ecs...

If they use Baquacil it is a Chlorine-Free product

http://www.baquacil.com/Products/baqcilSystems.htm

Bacquacil or Softsim ( same chemical/different brading by different companies....Arch Chemicals and BioLab...... are both biguanides. The chemical does have a -cl on the chemical - but not relevant as to levels like a salt (salt produces the chlorine sanitizer hypochlorous acid) as does a pool treated with either dichloro, calcium hypochlorite, or lithiium hypochlorite or trichlorisocyanuric acit. Those last ones............big chlorine. Biguanide, only elemental/small amount when BROKEN DOWN to it's elemental form

Well...if the DT reads here they know now not to bring it up.

I was listening with mediaplayer via google chrome - still experienced problems but thankfully not to the degree some others were.

I'm very impressed that Richard reads A LOT of what we write...I do think he's one of us!!

Sorry. When did Baez say that the Anthony's had chlorine in their pool. Did I miss this in the opening statement or has it been said since?

It just goes to show you how little Jose Baez thought out his defense.
