Have you seen Thomas? The 86-year-old has been missing from the Faldingworth area since Friday (21 October) and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

The 86-year-old is of a medium build with short grey hair, is clean shaven with blue eyes and is five foot 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue gilet, dark blue trousers and Velcro slipper style shoes. He is hard of hearing and may not have his hearing aids with him.

He is believed to have travelled in his vehicle, a white Audi Q3 with the registration WN67 VLW.

If you have seen him or his vehicle, please get in touch by calling 101 or by emailing [email protected] quoting incident 250 of 21 October. http://ow.ly/TkCz50LixBp

Concern is growing for the welfare of an 86-year-old man who was reported as missing on Friday, October 21. Lincolnshire Police has issued an urgent appeal for sightings of Thomas, who is missing from the Faldingworth area. Police have not given the man's surname.

A police spokesman said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Thomas, also known locally as John, who was reported missing from the Faldingworth area on Friday, October 21. The 86-year-old is of a medium build with short grey hair, is clean shaven with blue eyes and is five foot 10 inches tall..."

I'm surprised how car hasn't been spotted on any ANPR cameras. They're everywhere these days. That's very odd.

With deep regret, we bring you an update on our missing 86-year-old man.

We were called today at just before 11am to a report of a body in the River Witham at Bardney. We believe this to be Thomas (also known as John) who was reported missing to us ten days ago. His next of kin have been informed.

We would like to thank the media and the public who supported and shared the missing person appeal.

Incident reference 108 of 31 October.
