The province's police watchdog has charged three Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in connection with the shooting death of a baby boy during a confrontation between police and his father in Kawartha Lakes in 2020.

With Union support, to which they are entitled, these fellas are likely going to be drawing full salary and other job perks until sentenced.

So many officers are on ‘paid holidays’ but most have not been charged with shooting a baby and father.

Hope this goes to court quickly, it’s been delayed far too long already. MOO. IMO.

I'm so tired of cops shooting to kill instead of shooting to disable. And then shooting innocent kids on top of that.
It's like they get one day of gun safety training. It blows my mind.

I believe its easier to aim for the torso, rather than knee cap someone but this was not the sort of ‘crime’ that warranted getting out your gun, IMO.

They we’re also aware that the baby was in the truck. It’s on an audiotape that should be exhibit A in court. IMO, MOO

The child was with his father, who died a week later in hospital from the shootings.
