Wondering1 I like that word "brazen ". I suspect it will be used more times to describe TH and maybe others. I agree with everything you said.

looney ... straight up looney

I wonder how the many many people who have already convicted TH with their words will react if it is found out that someone like a SO absconded with Kyron and TH had no knowledge and no involvement.

I'm so glad our justice system doesn't allow emotion to rule out reason.

Thank you--great point. I teach my children, through my words and my actions, to treat others the way they would want to be treated. Terri may very well be guilty--but I cannot condemn her on rumors and hearsay. I would hope that if I were ever wrongly accused, others would give me that grace in return.

I agree.

If I had some strange man come to my house and demand money, and, I felt compelled to call 911, I think I would have mentioned it in the email I sent to my husband hours later.

Just seems strange.

Good point! I would think it would have been important to mention the strange man demanding money.

(Quoting from e-mails as presented in article linked in original post.)

To Kaine:
What you are doing is parental child abduction and is illegal.

To Friend:
"Guess what? Since we are married we have joint custody and he can do that. Gee, too bad I didn't know that," she wrote.

It's rather awkward that Terri e-mails her husband and accuses him of parental abduction. Where did Terri dig that term up - and decide that it was illegal for Kaine to take the baby? (Perhaps she knew of Kaine's intent to leave her. But, at that moment, they were still married. And Terri is accusing Kaine of doing something illegal.)

Next, she discusses this with 911 and is advised her husband is within his rights.

Then, she downloads on a supportive friend, and her comment seems somewhat sarcastic.

Of course, we are reading these things edited and out of context - so any interpretation is likely to be off. But... these two e-mails - one to Kaine and one to the friend updating on Terri's efforts about the baby - I get from this is this particular friend may have been supporting Terri in this ordeal, discussed the idea of parental abduction with Terri, perhaps suggesting to Terri that Kaine had no right to leave with the baby, and Terri went ahead and said this to Kaine in the e-mail.

No wonder her friends soon after encouraged her get real counsel. Their counsel was backfiring.

But again, I'm just speculating...based on what we know about Terri's friends having quickly come to her aid in her time of need...

Someone mentioned divorce and it got me thinking.... maybe TH and KH's marriage was broken and Kaine threatened divorcing her and fighting for full custody of baby K. Maybe that was her motive for the MFH plot. Maybe this Kyron abduction/kidnapping is part of a new MFHP. I got this idea from reading some of the sites out there - but maybe in delivering ransom to the kidnappers, Kaine would be killed, Kyron would be saved, and she would live happily ever after with HER daughter. It seems completely possible to me given what we know. Maybe it wasn't supposed to go on this long, but maybe LE got too close to her and the plan couldn't be completed. So now what, how do you get yourself out of that? If some of the bat-phones were bought before Kyron disappeared, maybe they were for the purpose of the kidnapper calling and giving ransom instructions. She had LE living in her house for what - 2 weeks. Maybe this was a plan gone wrong.

Ever consider IF that was the plan it was WRONG from the beginning...JMO

If Terri is involved in Kyron's disappearance, there has to be a motive, and I agree that if the marriage was in trouble and a divorce likely, Terri may have planned Kyron's abduction for a purpose, as a way to end up with full custody of their daughter.

I've always wondered about the reaction of LE when they learned of the MFH plot. They warned KH and advised him to leave the home with his daughter. I think LE, learning that there was a MFH plot 6 months prior to Kyron's disappearance, may have figured that this was a new plot that involved Kyron disappearing first and second, KH being killed.

I know it sounds far-fetched, but there's been many bizarre murders.

I am so confused! Who leaked all these e-mails?

TH to KH

TH to friend

But why would she be leaking them? We know that KH saw at least some form of electronic communication-was it him? Is it LE? Did the friend and KH both leak at the same time?

Why disappear Kyron at all? If the point is to get custody of baby K offing the husband (without getting caught) would do that. Then Kyron would go live with his biological mom-right?

If however, the objective was to HURT Kaine...then disappearing his son would do that.

IF she did it and at this point-I want to know what LE knows

Ok... not bouncing off anybody, just some thoughts after skimming through the thread.

In some states, one parent taking a child to conceal the child from the other parent IS considered kidnapping. He left the home, with clothes and necessities, in secret, without telling her where he was going. That's illegal some places.
I have a feeling that IF Terri were not considered the suspect, and IF all this had not happened with Kyron, and IF LE had not just found out about the MFH, then when she called 911 after getting no response from Kaine, deputies would have been sent out to find him and might have arrested him. They didn't, because they were behind him leaving with the baby to start with. They considered it removing her and himself from imminent danger. (Although I fail to see why soliciting a LS/Hitman 6 months prior is "imminent" danger, but that's just me.)

.

BBM and respectfully snipped....

Are you being serious here, or is this sarcasm?

My husband's ex arranged an attempt on his life for the life insurance money. The guy who did it (and due to sheer dumb stupidity was not successful) walked into court and plead guilty. Yes, she has diagnosed personality disorders. She's better when she takes her medication, has always refused counselling, and we never know when she's NOT taking her medication. The guy she "hired" got an easy sentence and probation. We lived in terror until he shot and killed himself earlier this year.

Do you honestly think that 6 months after this serious attempt on my husband's life we should not have felt ourselves in "imminent danger"? Because we will feel in imminent danger until that woman draws her last breath. The mere fact that she had the capacity to attempt it once means she has the capacity to do it again. Depraved is depraved. There is no time limit on it.

I have to say, if Kaine was the bad husband, why the "I love you" and "we should work this out".

It seems like she's guilty.

If she was completely innocent, she would be saying something like, "I can't believe you leave me without my daughter in the middle of this. We are done".

Not: "I love you, let's work this out".

What a crazy person.
Not necessarily.

When my ex abducted my daughter, I was all sweetness and light and loving, putting on quite the show until I had her safely back with me. He had no idea how truly infuriated I was, and I wasn't going to show it and risk him going into hiding or putting her somewhere I couldn't find her. Once I had her back home, I filed for divorce and he could only have supervised visitation.

It occurred to me to wonder if it could have been TH or a friend of hers with forwarded copies of the emails, trying to get a favorable reaction, fed up with all the talk about her not saying anything in her defence. "See, she's so calm and rational, she can't be a kidnapper, and look, she misses her baby terribly, people are saying that she doesn't because she didn't contest the restraining order but you see, she tried, she sent her husband an email asking for the baby to be returned, and by the way he was sneaky, underhanded and angry when he did it, and it was all very unfair."

Whoever it was that leaked it I feel a bit sick reading them. This sort of thing should be private. However Kyron's case turns out in the end I wouldn't like to be baby K in her teen years, reading through this stuff in the internet archives.
