AND...

"A number of other charges are pending as well."

Just as some of us suspected. Who's going to have the addition charges? DM, MS, CN, all three? IMO this is very telling and not looking good at all for the accused. Not that it looked good from the get go but...

Swedie, can't see your quote in the article. Thinking it's been edited out already-maybe part of the PB? Regardless, it's good to know :) and does confirm some of our feelings MOO

The quote isn't from the CBC article, it's from the AM900CHML interview with Susan Clairmont. The interviewer says it in the first few seconds of the broadcast, before the interview begins.

There’s a pretrial hearing today for the Tim Bosma case, of course, 29 year old Dellen Millard and 27 year old Mark Smich are charged with first degree murder in the case and, um, a number of other charges are pending, uh, as well. The trial is not expected to begin until sometime in January.

HTH.

Since they're talking about the pretrial hearings that are underway for DM and MS in the TB case in the interview, my feeling of the "other charges" pending that he is referring to are the accessory charges against CN, the two murder charges for the LB case, and the murder charge for the WM case.

Oops sorry MsSherlock. I got that information from Bill, from his interview with SC on AM900CHML, at approximately 16 seconds into intro. Yes it is good to know and IMO we shouldn't be surprised in the least. This does happen where the public is not privy to additional charges until closer to trial or during the trial(s) when charges at read. It all depends on what the judge rules and allows the MSM to report while a PB is in effect.

I'm just speculating, as we have done many times before, and I wonder if we'll see some charges against DM for the alleged "chop shop" or at least the theft of MM's HD and trailer. Perhaps illegal gun(s) and ammo possession and drugs? MS perhaps illegal gun(s) and ammo possession and drugs also, CN, not sure what additional charges she might face as we don't have much information on her, but I won't be surprised if she gets some other charge. Whatever it/they might be, obviously can't be that serious or she would not have made bail. If LE discovered something more serious after she was released on bail other than accessory after the fact, she likely would have been arrested again. Of course unless she's turned witness for the Crown in exchange.

Anyone else care to speculate what other charges might be added to DM, MS and CN?

ALL MOO.

I guess knowing details about this case could be enough to make anyone ill.
Get well soon Judge Glithero :( MOO.

HAMILTON — Court hearings for the two men accused in the high-profile slaying of Tim Bosma were cancelled for the remainder of the week after the veteran judge hearing the matter became ill Monday evening.

Glithero became ill after Monday’s hearing, Turnbull said.

Turnbull did not expect that to change because of this week’s health concern.

I wonder how Bill Kelly became privy to the inside information about additional charges to be laid? I wonder if he could be charged for breaking the publication ban? Hmm, I'd guess probably not. He did say there were other charges pending, not that there were additional charges pending, after all. Perhaps if someone is on a first name basis with him, they could ask him to clarify what he meant by that cryptic comment?

Judge’s illness forces delay of Bosma murder trial proceedings to Oct. 5

Court heard Tuesday that Justice Stephen Glithero was unwell and the proceedings would be stood down until Oct. 5.

The delay has happened just three days into pretrial motions that are expected to last for several weeks. The trial itself is scheduled to begin in mid-January. Justice James Turnbull, who briefly appeared in the courtroom to deliver the news about Glithero, said that this will not affect the trial date.

Men accused in high-profile Tim Bosma murder case appear in court

Millard and Smich sat in the prisoner’s box in leg shackles, wearing collared shirts and khaki pants. Millard had an 8-inch long braid remaining from his formerly shaggy hair, running from behind his right ear.

I hear the "man bun" is stylin' these days. Does DM still check out the fashion section in the papers? Could be where he's getting his fashion sense. Perhaps it's not about being able to afford haircuts and hygiene products or being frugal, maybe it's about being stylish. MOO.

So you think I’d look good in Armani as well as Boss? Mmm…nope. I’ve tried many times. Armani just doesn’t fit me. It’d have to be tailored and retailored so much, you couldn’t still call it Armani. His stuff is for short men. A pity, because it is stylish… I believe form follows function. But, I thought to check out the fashion section in the paper. You know, get in touch with fashion, maybe find something to wear to court. I recognized the name Alexander McQueen, and he’s doing plad [sic]. I like plad, although I prefer blue and green plad over black. Still what do you think of the included clipping?

You know, DM is 30 years old now...what is with all the childish hair fashions? It sometimes makes me feel that he just isn't taking the situation as seriously as it warrants.

A braided ponytail behind the right ear is a movie reference, btw: in the Star Wars prequels, it is known as a "Padawan braid"

Cryptic? How? He said, "A number of other charges are pending as well." I'm sure many people are not surprised by this comment. We have speculated and discussed it many times here. IMO it's the inevitable when we know (according to MSM and LE), at least one accused has broken the law during the commissions of three murders. MOO.
